Marriage & Divorce - 9 June 2006

Am really close friends with a girl. At times, she calls me Hubi/Sweetie/Sunshine. She asked me out on a date and I said Yes. She then says that she just wants to be friends and was joking - I say OK.

Then she says she doesn't want a boyfriend ever because shes been hurt in the past and is looking for a husband. She askes me if I honestly like her - I say Yes. She says we should get to know each other - I say OK. A day later says she justs wants to be friends because she doesn't want to get hurt again and mess up our friendship!

What does it mean?

I was married and now getting divorced and we first started having problems I asked if he would go with me and see a marriage counselor, he said "we will just go ahead and get divorced cuz I am not going to go see a counselor"... well 9 months later, I couldn't take it anymore... every month we argued over the SAME things.... never got better and I told him after the holidays it was over.. he said "why wait till the holidays are over?" I kept it to myself and went thru the holidays and NOW .....NOW.... the holidays came and went and I told him to leave by the end of Jan... he did, but NOW.............he wants back and he wants to see a counselor...he even started going on his own by himself???? and is now blaming me for not wanting to get help? I fell out of love with him and now he is doing everything EVERYTHING he can to win me back.. I DON'T WANT BACK!!! So, again, why does he NOW WANT WHAT HE CAN'T HAVE??????

the parties had a child prior to filing joint taxes (which constitutes marrigae in KS). One party has been under tremendous mental stress due to this situation and is now seeking divorce. Both parties agreed to divorce until going to sign papers. At that time due to the influence of a third party, one person started making totally uacceptable demands about the child.
The mother has been the custodial parent )the child is 5 1/2). the father has paid very little support. The parties have lived separatly for 3 1/2 yrs.

he won't use it since i faced him couple of years ago of something he was hiding from me concerning one of his collegues. This is why he is my ex. A few mths ago he took his baby mom home to LA and didn't tell me. Well I found out by somebody else. I called him while he was down there and asked him what was going on. We talked about it when he got back. Yes, he did cheat on me with her while they where down there. Well last weekend their baby was going to stay with his mom for a mth and he had to take her, well he took her and the baby moms again which he told me he was going to take her but I couldn't except that and I broke up with him. Well I feel like it is the biggest mistake I have ever made because I love him so much and he knows how I feel about him what should I do?

My husband has a good friend that is female she is much older than he is and she is married with three kids. The kids call him Uncle. He is also friends with her husband but he mostly keeps in touch with her. Is it normal in that situation that I feel jealous, even though I know that he wouldn't do anything like cheat? He tells me not be jealous and that I have no reason to be. I don't know if this is justifiable jealousy or I'm I just being insecure.

I'm not saying all do so hear me out. I grew up ina small town where cheating was a pretty rare or at least not talked about. Now i live in a amilitary town and guys that are stationed here practicly advertised that they are married but looking for sex elsewhere and alot of wives that are here while their man is off in Iraq dont see it as cheating? Is it acceptable to cheat just because you are in the military or associated with it??? People I know and know of use it like its an excuse that its ok.

My husband says that job stress and tiredness keep him from having an active libido, given we have moved states 2x in the past year for him to start new jobs. I know that he isn't having an affiar, and I know that he's not gay. We've been married for 6 years and sex got less and less over the past 3.

how easy would it be for my husband to get custody of our 2 year old daughter if we got a divorce? He has a 6 year old from a previous relationship that he got custody of. They were never married. He told me one time(in an argument) that it would be easy for him to because he could say that he doesnt want the kids to grow up in seperate households. But his x( the one he has his other kid by)has two other kids so if that was the case, he wouldnt have his oldest one. Ad Im pregnant with another one. No way in hell he would be able to prove I was an unfit parent. He's the type of person who likes to sceam things. I was around through the whoe custody battle with his last one. He would go for custody out of spite. Is there a better chance on his side?

i have a beautiful motorcycle. it's big and mean and powerful and turns me on in ways no man ever could! i want to get rid of it. i get in too much trouble with it plus selling it could really help financially. my husband doesn't want to sell it. he won't ride it because he's afraid of it and he won't ride with me because he doesn't want to be seen on the back of his wifes bike. y does he care? do u think i should sell?

My friend married this women mail-order from Jamacia. After two years he began to notice her changing quite dramaticaly. Then one day he came home and found her with another man . She suddenly tells him that she has a child in Jamacia and if he does'nt pay for his way over to the states she will leave him for this other man. Does anyone have any suggestions about what options my friend may have? I believe she just used him to get her citizenship. Is it possible to have her deported for breaking a contract of marriage?And, if so is she liable for any suffering my friend is or will be going through? All help is greatly appreciated.

Fight constantly about sex-all he ever wants, it does nothing for me anymore. I just lie there, I think its because he doesn't take no for an answer. We have two small children, I have just started staying home and now he has taken my car because he junked his work van. Its been a month, I can't go anywhere. He sees nothing wrong with that. I feel no connection at all with him anymore. It seems we are only together for financial reasons. Any advice? How do you know when it is over?
