Am really close friends with a girl. At times, she calls me Hubi/Sweetie/Sunshine. She asked me out on a date and I said Yes. She then says that she just wants to be friends and was joking - I say OK.
Then she says she doesn't want a boyfriend ever because shes been hurt in the past and is looking for a husband. She askes me if I honestly like her - I say Yes. She says we should get to know each other - I say OK. A day later says she justs wants to be friends because she doesn't want to get hurt again and mess up our friendship!
What does it mean? Does she like me? Does she want to get married to me? Is she playing games?

She is playing you. She wants to see if you will do what she wants. Don't be a sucker find another girl. Kick this one to the curb.

I think really she would like to get a little closer to you but is afraid... I have been with several Lady's like this and the bad thing is they never change... If it was me i would try and keep her as a friend and if you need to have a little closer contact with someone best to start looking of someone that is not hung up on the past..

Yes when woman got hurts she may really hard to forget what happen befor and dont want to get hurt again, give sometime to her and youself to findout it is better to be a friend or a life partner.

I think she is at war within herself. Unless she has a history of stringing guys along. She probably wants to get involved but only if you can tell her what the future holds for certain. Who can?
