That would depend upon how important marriage is to you. People get married to legitimize their children, for inheritance rights in case of death, etc. "Polite" society usually requires that if you are having children together, it is probably a good idea to be married. People who are not having children are choosing to not marry, even though they may be living together, or are past the time of having children or retired, and one or the other will loose social security or other benefits. This apparently isn't the two of you guys. So, just how important is a piece of paper to you, or for you to be called "Mrs."? Why is he against marriage?? What's the big deal, unless he is worth a fortune, and figures you'll sue for everthing he has????

You need to talk to him and tell him how you feel. Let him know that marriage is important to you - and ask him whats keeping him from wanting to get married. Be honest with eachother and try to reach an agreement that will work for both of you.

If you have already had two kids and arent married I think he isnt about to change the status quo. If I were you I would seek someone who loved me and wanted a family and quit fooling around.

Good Luck and God Bless!!

I hate to say that you are wasting your time, but if you feel as though you are, you just may be. Do you talk about marriage and just put it off? What does he want?

HONEY, AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE MARRIED AND THEN HAVING CHILDREN??? YOU ALREADY PLAY MOM & DAD & THE FAMILY PART. YOU SHOULD TALK TO YOUR BF ABOUT THIS. I THINK WHAT YOU WANT IS A WEDDING AND A MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE.. CUZ ACCORDING TO YOUR SITUATION.. YOU ARE MARRIED.

He probably would have walked when you got pregnant if he wasn't in it for the long haul. Besides, marriage is overrated.
