When I lived in Phoenix, AZ I knew a man who was married to a woman about 35 - 40 years his senior. So dissimilar were their ages that she was sometimes mistaken for his mother. I have never know a happier couple. They were like kids at the prom every time I was around them. She eventually died in her sleep and my friend was crushed. If nothing else, their relationship absolutely convinced me that age was not a factor in a loving union.

What exactly is "elder" to you? Are you 20 marrying a 70 year old woman?

what do you mean by elder woman..If she is just not very elder to you .like 3 or 4 years elder to you ..I dont think there will be any difficulties..what kind of difficulties are you asking?
If you really love her you should not see her age ..

it's a 50/50 chance... if the person is good and humble, then there should be no problems. but there are times that other problems arise like the elder woman looks down on the man because she thinks she knows more (just because she is older) and this can hurt a man's ego. older women think younger men and gullible (sometimes) my friend is 32 yrs old. his wife is 44 yrs old. wife cheated on him yrs ago. friend is stupid -- he forgave her (GULLIBLE!) so now they're together again. but wife is flirting with other men (younger than my friend). this is also somehow an "ego trip" on the older woman... she thinks she is still desirable because younger men like her, so she becomes arrogant and her head is above the clouds.

Nothing wrong with marrying an older woman. They have the advantage of confidence, experience, expertise and (maybe) their own money.
If you do you should also have a young mistress. After all you dont want to miss out and your older spouse will quite understand.
Set the ground rules so that she understands that one strike and she's out. Dont take any tantrums or demands on board.

i'm 5 years older than my husband and on a similar time as He looks older than i do, we nevertheless get those little arrogant glances while somebody learns of the age hollow. we've discovered to snort it off. we are chuffed mutually and our courting is enhanced than maximum, (i like to think of any way :) yet making it a shaggy dog tale has a tendency to lighten the temper while others act as though they have been shamed by using our marraige. some thing like your spouse asserting, properly what am i able to assert, i grew to become right into a cradlerobber or some thing of the like can go an prolonged way in easing discomforts.

Older women are much more fun, as far as i am concerned the only drawback is the jelousy thing, they are all the same after marrying someone younger than them, get round that and your relationship will flourish. good luk

I really do not know other then she may not always be able to have the children when you want them and she also may not be as sexually active as you always are. These are the only set backs i can think of!
