Friends - November 2007

So I'm the 20 yr old guy with feelings for the 27 yr old best friend who is married and has two kids. I don't want to lose his friendship but I need to get these feelings for him buried once and for all. If I tell him I love him more than a friend he will freak out and stop speaking to me. He's like an older brother, always looking out for me etc. Recently I decided to stop speaking to him even though we work together, I try to limit conversation but I feel really bad cause I know I'm hurting him.

How can I move on? I just want him to spend time with me...even though he's married and has kids I long to hang out with him like a normal friend. He's just so busy but at the same time I admire him.

How do I keep my best friend, dump this feelings and live happy?

On a scale from 1 to 10 what would you rate MY life on? Heres a few things...
Don't have my GED. Don't have a job. Only have 2-4 friends. Have only had one girlfriend in my entire life. Can't get a job to save my life. Didn't even pass 9th grade. Still get help from my parents to pay for my stuff. And I don't think i'll meet another person that I can consider to be a 'girlfriend'. Mainly because I don't have much of a social life.
This is what my day consists of.
I wake up, grab a muffin and some juice. Then I proceed to be bored for the next 10 hours. Getting off and on Counter-Strike, World of Wacraft, myspace, and spikedhumor.

So on a scale of 1-10 what would you rate my life on?

I have this friend that keeps coming to me every time her new gf cheats on her. This happens once a moth or so. She has no taste in women.

Well in a moment of exasperation i said "IF YOU CAN'T FIND A GOOD WOMAN, THAN MAYBE, JUST MAYBE YOUR BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE!!"

Before I could say anything else she tackles me, tells me that she want to give me a try. She said I've always been there for her, that I always have good advice. And she wants to be with me because she can't think of another man that's more like a woman than me.

WHAT THE HELL! I REBUILT HER CAR! I JUST FINISHED REMODELING HER BATHROOM! I BUILT HER A BRICK BBQ!

How do I get even with her for calling me a woman?

My best friend has left our school and me and my friends are really annoyed, because she didnt tell us. The first thing was the the 6 of us got split into our homegroups, 4 of us in 1 and 2 in the other. The friend who left was in the 2 person class and she started avoiding us, becoming distant. Then she didnt turn up for a while and she wouldnt return any of our calls or txts or emails, and we were getting really worried cause she had recently moved house but hadnt given us her address, just her phone number. Then we were told she had left the school and now one friend is left by herself cause its to late to change groups and we're upset cause she didn't tell us. Then suddenley out of the blue yesterday she txted me saying 'hehe...I'm coming friday lunchtime', like it was a joke! we're all fuming and we've thought about how she felt, but she should've taken us into consideration as well and now i dont know what to do. What should i say when i see her, apart from asking why?

Im having some roommate trouble. I live together with 3 other guys. The guy that I live with is never here so I have my own room while the other two guys share a room. One of them is very similar to me because we have a lot of the same interests and personality. The other one is very different. I am not as close to him, but we get along with fine. When we first met, we hung out all the time and everything was fine. However not to long ago, the one im not very close to talked the other one into living with him, his brother, and cousin next year without asking me. At first I was upset about this but I got over it. However ever since then I always felt more like a third wheel then part of the group. The guy I was close to is starting to become more like the other one. I have been avoiding them, but that just seems to make it worse. What should I do? Should I confront them about it or should I just move on? Any advice would be great. Thank You.

My friend likes this guy, but the way they show that they like each other is by hitting each other. Everytime i see them, they are always pinching, hitting, slapping, and punching each other. The other day, he had her by the arm and was hitting her, i whispered to my friend "he's treating her like a slave" and she heard, and now she is super pissed at me. I told her before that the way they treat each other is weird, so i don't see why she's getting so mad at me this time. so far, she has turned about 7 people against me, and they are always talking crap about me now. i have to see her tomorrow so i need all the help i could get!!! i was planning on saying sorry to her but i don't know how she is going to take it. any advice on what i should say???!!! i even had a nightmare of her rejecting my apology last night.

my best friend calls me, then when i start talking or there is a silence she just hangs up. it bugs the crap out of me and more importantly makes me feel like crap. after she does it i usually send her a text saying tht it bugs me and tht i dont really appreciate when she does tht, but tht has done nothing.... now wht?

ok, so I have this friend who is really rude and mean, and we've been friends for 2 years! This year I'm friends with a new girl, who REALLY nice, and I kind of dumped my other friend. does walking with a girl to the buses everyday after school and waiting with her when my bus is here and hers isn't make me whipped??

like ill be at my locker and she'll come up to me and say come walk with me to the buses, so i do, then her bus is usually not here and mine is so she like pulls me and grabs me to stay with her till her bus is here, does that make me whipped??

He's sixteen, and I'm leaving for college after this year so we won't be able to see each other as much. I usually give him something cute and sentimental, but I can't think of anything right now. I already did the whole scrapbook idea and the collage of pictures one, so I'm trying to think of something sweet and inexpensive that I can preferably make myself. All of my friends r 13yo girls.And i can't get them gift cert. b/c im already getting a couple of friends other things and i don't want them 2 fell like i put less effort into their gift.

She got her phone taken away and I didnt know it, so I texted her. Then I got a text from her phone ( But the principal had it) and it said "This is Mr. Vessey.") She is beautiful, used to be my best friend, is POPULAR, doesnt have a boyfriend, and isnt easy to embarrase.

me and my best friend have been friends for 3 years now. and she meets this new person.[e] those are really close now. i dont mind that she has new friends. but every since she met her my friend has changed into this person who does things i would of never thought she would do. and now she is always leaving me out or ditching me. we've tried talking about it. but it leads to NOWHERE. i cant learn to get along with her and her new friend. she puts me down everyday and calls me fat when i am not even close to being fat. she also makes me do lots of chores, never quits nagging me and she hits me.. any advice? how to make her stop? how to not listen to her? my self confidence has gone way done b/c of her too. how can i get it back up?
