When some of those "friends" are fake ones in the boat only to take advantage of you! Oh, Oh, or when you can no longer tell who is who and are confusing the names!! ;)

I'd say that it doesn't go wrong when you have too many, it's when you don't know how to treat them all at once. Usually we have friends that we prefer among others but sometimes having a lot of people surrounding us doesn't give us a chance to communicate with others that we might underestimate or just not notice as much. Sometimes it's hard to administrate valuable friendships with many people but i guess it's part of life because you never know who is worth the while or not.

You can never have too many friends, but it is who you put your trust in that matters. You may have some friends that are closer or some that are more like acquaintances. So, it just depends on what kind of personality you have and what kind of friends they are to you.

I believe there is no such thing as too many friends. Just make sure you have some really good and close friends. If you loose those friends then you know you have messed up.

when they start putting demands on you and everyone competes for your time or attention and you don't have enough left and they start telling you that if you were a friend you'd make more time without understanding that there are so many others saying the same thing to you because you are likable and you are such a good friend and you love them all but are having a difficult time appeasing them all....so you go to Y!A and make internet friends who can't be too demanding and you can turn them off any time you'd like...whewww...I'm glad I can share that with you!
