He's sixteen, and I'm leaving for college after this year so we won't be able to see each other as much. I usually give him something cute and sentimental, but I can't think of anything right now. I already did the whole scrapbook idea and the collage of pictures one, so I'm trying to think of something sweet and inexpensive that I can preferably make myself. I want to get him something he can take out when he misses me and whatnot.

Make him an emergency packet for when he is missing you. Include: picture of you, something scented with your fav perfume, and a phone card.

Get a video camera out and make him a video diary. You can sing some of your favorite songs. You can read a poem.
Do it in segments. Tape something for one day. then cut.
Tape another thing for another day.
He can watch each segment at different times when he's missing you. He pops in the memory card and moves to the next frame.

One small picture in a small frame of a place which has fine memories for you both.You don't have to be in the photo.(why limit the memories to just one time event) Could be a beach or the local Mc Donald's. Very discrete and affectionate.

Go to CVS and upload some photos onto their Kodak Printing machines (you can hook up a flash drive or a camera card). Once you have done that, you can choose to make all sorts of cool things like T-Shirts, pillow cases, mugs, etc... with your picture(s) on it! Good Luck!

sing him a really cheesy song about friendship or something. the more ridiculous, the better
write him a poem. the rules about cheesyness are the same as above
a kiss, if you're feeling adventurous
promise him you'll take him to a football game or something at your college
a stuffed animal. something random like a buffalo or wombat. name it larry
a customized pair of socks... every time he put 'em on he'll think of you
a thong- just cuz it'd be funny

im a guy and i like guns is he a hunter or something? if not mabye he is a shooting kind of guy or paintball.... or u could ask him what he might want dont give him somthing bad and cheap he'll feel sad like u dont care or anything if u get him somthing and u dont want him to take it back keep the reciept and take off the price tag.

Maybe you should get him a t-shirt or sweat shirt from the college that you go to. or you can make him a cool thing to hang from his car mirror. I ams ure you will think of seomthing
