Friends - November 2007

What is your advice for dealing with someone like that? We have a mutal friend whom they decieded to not be friends with, now, I am stuck in the middle. One friend does not care, and the other cares very much, and refuses to be friends with someone who is friends with this other person. So silly.

O.K. ... so my friend invited me to her 15th birthday party. My boyfriend is her brother. I already told them I was allowed to go. But now I got my basketball cheerleading schedule and there is a game on her birthday! I can't just say forget the game (I kinda have to be there) and I don't want to miss her party and my boyfriend is so happy that I am going! What do I do?

Hi. Em my best friend is a guy and hes really in love with me. I love him too but not as much as he loves me. Its great. Im happy with that. He recently introduced me to his best guy friend gavin and we got off to a good start. We've been getting on really well. He told me we were friends staraight away. The problem is i think im starting to fall for gavin. I dont know if he feels the same and i can't ask any of their mates because gavin and paddy would find out and it would break paddys heart if he knew i liked gavin. Ive known paddy for 6 months and gavin for 3 weeks. Its starting to get difficult. Please help me. Thank you

in your 'crew' or group of friends, is there someone that everyone hates or feels like telling him to shut the hell up and go away?

we have one.. he can be a nice guy but oh my god.. he's so weird, he keeps touching people, like he came up to me and he's always puting his hand on my arm or shoulder then like slides it down...

ugh.. he does it to us all and if me and my missus are walking out of school to go to lunch in the town he'd like catch up and go with us even if we want to be alone or whatever..

he's always there! it's really annoying... and he thinks he's beautiful.. when all the girls think he's revolting.. it's funny sometimes..

but god.. ugh.. and he aint the type of guy you can say 'get the hell away from me' because he just wont listen.. I've said so many times because he keeps rubbing me and he's always perving on my missus and everyone else's missus at that..

I am having a birthday party. I am inviting 2 guys whom I haven't seen in6 months. I grew breasts in that time. If i don't wear a bra, they sort of look pokey and awkward. If I wear a sports bra they look a little less pokey. If i wear my regular bra, the look nice and round. My girl friend who I invited has seen me only in my regular bra, so she'll think I stuff. I don't . HELP! guys, do you really notice that kind of thing? Be totally honest. any things to talk about?

about 9 months ago. I had relocated to ATL 3 weeks ago and when i told him of my plans from the git go he seemed excited since he visits on a regular from across the border (phenix,alabama) Whenever he called me he is always on the road and rushing me off. He claims to be a widower.I always felt that this guy just wanted to be friends so i did'nt think of a possible love connection.
I started to think that he was losing interest in our friendship and told him so and he wrote me a letter that was apologetic for not meeting me as he had promised, when i tried to reply i found that he had blocked me. Now three weeks later i get a list of hillarios jokes he sent me here are some....the topic is ..BY ALL MEANS MARRY!
1-I recently read, that love is like chemistry...now i know why my wife treats me like tocic waste.

I've taken an old friend of mine into my home. He's hit some hard times lately and I want to give him a break. Here's the problem: He's a pretty serious pillhead. I made it clear to him that if he's going to stay here, he MUST fix his addiction and he MUST get his life together with all speed. Have you dealt with trying to help a drug-addicted friend before? Any input would be useful. What to look for in terms of relapse, what boundaries to set, etc.

My mom tells me all time that I don't have a life i think i do my daily routine is get up go to school do my homework study watch tv and practice all of my instruments and occasionaly i go out with my friends. My really good friend loves to sing and thinks she has a great voice. She doesnt. My daughter's Best friend now hates her and has all their group hating her as well... because her friend's guy likes her. My daughter has no control over who likes her. I feel really bad for my DD, she misses her friends terribly and doesn't want to go to school now.(she's in grade 8)..there has been intervention done at school due to this problem, with no resolution.
She's heartbroken and I'm having a hard time to deal with this.Do I get involved or just be there to support her?
My DD has been there (as I have) for these "friends" , I've taken one into my home when kicked out, the other practically lived here every weekend!
What's the best way for me to help daughter cope??

Well, recently my guy friend has turned all of my jokes into serious consideration including buying stockings (since they're conveniently in HotTopic where most of my clothes are) and bra (since I never own anythin Victoria Secretly's pink). I am not sure if that's normal or if not, how do I tell him to stop buying me those stuffs without hurting him
