Start singing classes that always helps you if u can sing u can talk without being shy. Try and be funny accidentaly like when your friend says something be looking at something in your hands like your only hardly listening then when she says something like
"My dads a pilot" which is quite random but she wouldnt say that any way you will mis hear her and think she says pirate and say out loud
"your dads a pirate!"
or something like that mishearing words someone else says and then repeating what you heard will make them laugh. Although i dont do it to make my friends laugh i just dont have good hearing and i dont really listen to them much i just pick out intereesting bits of their convosation and then mishear it. Oh this isnt answering your question is it! sorry
wait i have another on say your walking down the street and your friend says,
"look at that big bus!" dont ask me why she would say that but yeah
you would say
"are you saying i have a big @rse"
you know something like that but of course less random but say something really what she didnt say but what sounds like what your friend said. oh my hands hurt from typing!

or just get hypnotherapy thatll get u talking afterwards of course it doesnt happen immedietlelly but it gradually helps it helps you find out what caused u to be so quiet in the first place. i had it done to me and now im not quiet at all im quite the opposite actaully.
anyway good luck!

I don't think you can just transform yourself. Just join in with conversations! Surely if it's a topic you're interested in, you'll talk lots. I'm quiet alot too, but I always have lots to say with my friends. Some people are just like that.

raise your self esteem and that will go a long way toward becoming more talkative as you get more confidence in yourself. I will give you a site that will help you on raising your self esteem and then you have to place yourself in situations where you can push yourself to be more talkative but with higher self esteem I don't think you will have to push too hard. Good luck to you!!

Hey,

Joining a local sports team or even joining ToastMasters in your area (they're helpful in improving public speaking skills) might help:)
