O.K. ... so my friend invited me to her 15th birthday party. My boyfriend is her brother. I already told them I was allowed to go. But now I got my basketball cheerleading schedule and there is a game on her birthday! I can't just say forget the game (I kinda have to be there) and I don't want to miss her party and my boyfriend is so happy that I am going! What do I do?

As a responsible person, you must go

Maybe you could go to both. Like go to her party for a half hour or something, then go to your game. Or swing by afterwards.
If neither of those work, then you need to tell either your friend immediately. The longer you wait, the worse it'll be.

Be honest and upfront and let them know and if the party is still going on after the game then make your appearance

go to the party after the game ( try to leave the game a lil early this way you wont be as late)

how close are the times between the two events
ask your friend if she can change the time of her event
or just take your friend out on a later day to make up for it

uh.. you have a commitment. tell them you have a game that night. boo -hoo it's a birthday party. they'll get over it, trust me! you'll be fine. if they really are your friends and are caring they'll understand why you can't make it.

show them your schedule...try to make it late or leave early....not much else you can do about it
