Friends - November 2007

OK in a nutshell....after 6 years the love of my life doesnt want me, I don't have a job, having the worst luck finding a new one and recently ruined my credit. I am feeling desperate about my situation and I am depressed. I want to move to another state to have a fresh start. Im in CA and was thinking AZ only because I can still drive home and visit mom and a friend who will let me stay in his home until I get my own apt. Nobody around me supports my idea and they say I need to deal with it here, get a job here and that I am giving up. I just feel I need a change of life. I am 26, have my BA, have a car that is fairly new and I know will not break down on me. Should I go ahead and look for a new life in AZ?

you have a dear friend, you taught she was so perfect, she was a sister to you, then she will told you a lot of things of cor'z positive things... then she told you that you not to trust this other girl whom you always be with because you are in the same company, your friend shows good behaviour when shes in front of this girl but when that girl is not around she told many negative attitude that this girl has even the confidential portion. she is destroying the image of this girl. then one day i discover that this friend i thought it is, also do same kind of habit to me.
she is also destroying me even my personality to other people.
it was so hurt that time i knew everything. she said she was sorry but i couldn't trust her anymore... now shes out of the country for work & we haven't settled our problem. i can't see her point... why did she do such thing to everybody...

well,you see,i was just looking through my dad's pics on his phone,and i saw a pic of a girl's butt.which means he is cheating on her,AGAIN.so help me please!!and that was a pic he took himself because it don't look like no wall paper at all!so help, me please!!!should I tell her.my friend just said stay out of it and don't say anything.and I really don't know what to do!and if I do tell her,they'll start arguing then stuff will start to happen.but still,it seems right to tell her.so should I tell her,or no?

Alright, well here's the scoop. I saw these girls last Wednesday at the gas station and didn't think much when I saw them at first. When they were walking out, they were looking at me and one of them said "hey sexy." We talked for awhile, but never really exchanged numbers and stuff. I was going to give them my number, but never got around to it.

Then I tried leaving them a note on what I thought was their car and it turned out not to be. I drove past and I saw some guy get out of it lol. I was thinking about maybe trying to put a new one in the lobby for the apartment, since it was an apartment building. I could add on the note "please put note back if you are not the intended receiver or something." What do you think?

Last year I had two girls who were my closest friends. The three of us did just about everything together. After we went different ways for the summer (we're in college), she e-mailed me to say we couldn't be friends anymore. No explanation. Since then she's spoken to me exactly once, to reiterate that we would not be hanging out anymore. When I went to her dorm to try to talk to her, her mother reported me for harassment. The crazy thing is, we're both still friends with the third girl, who also has no idea why she's done this and is about an inch from telling her to bug off. Anyway, my question is not why my friend dumped me like this--I don't know if anyone will ever know--but how I can deal with it. It's been five months and I'm still so bewildered and upset. I can't seem to put it behind me. Does anyone have any advice?

I have been sad and depressed at the same time! My friends and boyfriend tried to talk to me, but I didn't want to talk to them. I haven't been doing my work lately! I feel like quitting school and leaving Yahoo! What do you think I should do besides talking to someone about this? I tried that and it didn't work. Please be honest! I'm serious here! So i have this friend (age 17) that has this boyfriend (age 18)... After they had been going out for just a couple weeks i learned they had sex for the first time and she would also gave up her virginity.. well it took him a couple days b4 he finally talked her into it which she told me later that whenever she said no he would yell at her and make her feel like crap so she finally gave in so when they finally did it she just laid their bawling while he humped her.. this has happened a few time i believe.. what should I do? should I tell her parents..? i have no clue shes like my best friend and i dont want to lose her friendship over this but i also want to do what a good friend would do.. but right now im not sure what that is so you should help me out plz plz

This guy i've liked for 6 years...i never told him.....im trying to get voer him.
he is one of my friends.
lately i just try to ignore him and get mad at everything he does but i get dreams on how we're together and stuff...
I don't wanna lose him but at this point it's my only option.
Is getting mad at him, ignoring him, and finding a way for him to tell me he hates me a good way of finally making my feelings move on?

At school I have a lot of friends and they are REALLY important to me, but one of my newest friends acts really weird sometimes. I met her on our first day and we are really good friends but she's always putting me down and telling me bad things about myself and I don't know if she's just messing around or what. She's always trying to make herself look like she's better than me and that she has more friends than I do. Usually I just laugh along because I don't know if she's being serious or not but it really hurts my feelings and I haven't got that much self esteem anyways. Sometimes I even start to believe what she says! What should I do????

I am a very shy girl in class and there's this girl who sat just behind me and everytime she push my chair and it hurts me a lot... And every time i kind of tell her to stop but she continue to push me many times.
I was thinking of telling the teacher....
Some people outside of school told me to take action like slap this girl. And i was like, i won't be able to do that. Nobody in my class is my true friend.... Everyone in my class are white and i'm the only indian girl.

Plz help me in that situation.

Some kid has made fun of me since middle school. I try to get him to stop but he just keeps on going. The worst is when he makes fun of me in front of everybody and they all look down on me some of which are my friends because i dont do anything about it.

I'm getting really mad, should i just hit this kid. I'm willing to get suspended cause he crosses the lines way too much times.

it hurts me to write this but i cant really think clearly and i need someones advice that doesnt know me , anyways my friends threw a party while i was away for thanksgiving and when i came home my really good friend steph told me that my best friend amanda slept with my boyfriend lucas ,i didnt believe it but steph took pictures of them making out and someone had actually filmed them and i couldnt believe it , now they both are sending me e-mails calling my phone and i dont know what to do ! im trying to calm down because if i see either one of them i dont know what i'll do, i know i cant ever be with him again or be her friend anymore i just dont know how im suppose to let go when it feels like they both stabbed me in my front and my back.

A couple of years ago I was seriously depressed and anti social. People who are experiencing depression isolate themselves from other people; the ones who are close to them and ones who try to get close to them. I didn't know it then but this guy really liked me and was too shy to speak to me so he had his friends try. one of his friends tried a couple of times, he walked up to me and I kept walking. another one tried to help me in class like 2 or 3 times and I didn't say thanks. another was walking up to me in the hallway and I turned around and walked the other way.
I know these things were rude and bitchy. I used to feel really guilty about them, I still kind of do. They cannot stand me. it shows.
they don't say mean things but I can tell by their body langauge and how they speed up when they see me.

Another one of all of their friends might go out with me. I don't want there to be tension. what can I do to fix things?
Guys, how would you feel if you were those guys?

My friend heard about an opportunity to become a stripper and asked me to do it with her. She said she wouldn't do it alone and I know that she really needs the money. I don't want to do it but I don't know a nice way to tell her.
I don't know if my family would approve of me doing something like this. And I know for a fact her mother wouldn't approve of her doing something like this. I really don't know what to do. She's 26 but I know this is still a really bad thing for her to do. Should I tell her mother? I know for a fact that strippers end up doing drugs and having sex with their customers. My best friend who is so kind and generous and takes no for an answer is being used by her new boyfriend of 4 months. She cooks homemeade meals for him, and washes his clothes, and lets him park his cars at her home and he has an apartment of his own. He is mean, controlling, and just using her.
