Well beth has been my best friend since 4th grade! &nick has been my best friend for a 6months but we have been friends for a year and i REALLY liked him last school year.
over the summer i met ryan nicks best friend & we really hit it off so i started liking ryan & nick & i just got closer & closer which was fine w/ me. but then in like july nick started REALLY liking beth & beth started liking him beth was dating this other guy andy but she never really saw him&itwas REALLY getting to her so i was like well mayb it would b good if u and nick did go out... & the night b4 it happen i got really mad! idk y but i did & now what me and ryan dont talk as much (long story) i feel like my best friends have ditched me for each other! and idk is that just mean or do i really ahve a reason to be mad they are always talking and when im around the have to kiss and i no i dont like nick anymore but i just dontl ike watching my Bff's making out! what should i do am i wrong for not likeing it?

ok this is hard to ask but i have to. Well lately some times my white friends like are talking about like random stuff. whenever theres like a african-american in the story they are telling it makes me feel uncomfterable when they say "black person". They sometimes make racist jokes that r suppose to be funny. This other african-american kid laughs but i feel rly bad and weird. One of my white friends said once "Once i was walking down the street and there was this black dude rapping and it was weird." I felt rly uncomfterable after this. How can i not feel this way or tell my "friends" to stop with all this?

...and you find out another way. You show up to the funeral and EVERY single one of your "friends" are there, including ppl that haven't seen or spoken to the person that passed away. Would you forgive them? Would you be ok with that or would you be completely offended?

ok so my friend lets call her annie complains at least 22/7. she complains about how tired she is, about how she lost her favorite earrings, about how fat she is (she weighs 110 lbs., max), about how im taller than she is, about how mean her mom is, about how late she stayed up, about how mean so and so is being to her, and on and on and on. Its like, do you realize how dumb that sounds?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!? so now she is doing ski racing at my school and she has dryland practice. she also did skiing last year. she complains about how far she had to run and how many situps she had to do and she will literally tell everyone she meets how grueling the workout was. she did skiing last year too. i feel like telling her "if its so grueling and difficult, why are you doing it again?" i was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem and if you found a good way to resolve it without major hurtage.

ps. it kinda sounded like i was complaining this whole time didn't it?

He's commitment-phobic. He kept telling me he thought I was pretty, like he was apologizing. He said that he was freaked out by being in a relationship(of less than 2 weeks). He said we'd go on dates and get to know each other better, before being anything official. He said he doesn't want me to avoid him now because of this.


I don't know what to do, or what to feel. I need someone to tell me what this all means.

My best friend has been acting really wierd for a while now. She always puts other people down by saying" OMG she's ugly""she's fat""omg she has a big nose"..I mean seriously everytime i bring someone up in a convo she interrupts with something mean to say about them. She's become so superficial and it's so annoying to the point where i dont feel like talking to her anymore. She always brings up ppl's flaws even though she has many and she says things to me like"omg your such a dumbass"when i prove her wrong about something but SHE THINKS she's right. She should'nt even be talking about appearences...well I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but she's no Beauty Queen either. It just annoys me, she used to be so nice and down to earth (part of the reason we WERE best friends) but now she's so stuck up and superficial and just plain mean. i just wanna slap her sometimes, she always finds away to bring me down or compete with me or try to prove me wrong. What do you think?

okay so this year ive switched from a private school to a public school the surroundings are very different. when i firt came to the public school i was friends with the "emo rockers" which is weird because i am verryy preppy. so recently ive stopped sitting at lunch with them and stopeed hanging around wwith them and ive been hanging around with the peacesign hippie preppy girls which i love to death now. my first friends dont really talk to me anymore except for one. and i jsut dont know what to do was it a mistake to leave the other behind?

I have a friend that has hurt me on several occasions. I can honestly say that I've hurt her as well. The majority of the offense I've received has been a result of this friend saying hurtful things to me and saying negative things about me to others. I have also spoken hurtful words to her out of anger.

This friend has expressed remorse for her actions, but I am having trouble letting her back into my life. We just seem to clash on many occasions because of our differing beliefs.

She expresses the desire to hang out with me now that she's apologized, but I just don't know if it's worth it to resume our friendship. I don't want to hurt her anymore, but I'm not sure how to go about dealing with her in the right way.

I need some wisdom. Thank you for your suggestions.

My friends and I want to go to the mall, dressed in black shirts, pants, and shoes, and act like ninjas. We won't hurt anyone, just embarrass ourselves and tape it for our own enjoyment. A friend of mine (let's call her R) likes another friend of mine (he's A). R seems to really like A, and she asked me otp yesterday to ask A who he liked. (I was already pretty sure he doesn't like her) So the conversation (on the bus, just me and A) went like this:
"Who do you like? I was told to interrogate you,"-me
"For who? R?"-A. "Ok, let's just say it's definately not R"
"Why are you asking about R, do you think she likes you?"
"Oh god, I hope not. I don't think so. I usually think not about these things, but I'm trying to be optimistic in this case. Ugh, R..."--A *shudders*
I know she bugs him, and I think he may like me. (he's uber nice to me and stuff, and his little bro said so)
But R always thinks A flirts w/ her (when he doesn't)
How can I break it to her gently? She'll want to know what he said... Should I tell her everything?? (except him maybe liking me, that'll kill her)

My boyfriend, first love broke up with me 2 months ago, my fault I took him for granted. It hurts so much and until I screwed up he was going to give us a second chance. Ive seen him here or there but I dont look at him because I feel terrible. Normally I dont get emotionally attached like this, I break up with a guy and im sad for a couple days then im okaIy but this one really got to me. i live in a freshmen dorm. i love the room i'm in - first floor and i have good friends on my floor. however, i can't stand my roommate. we don't fight, but we don't get along either. how do i go about and force her to want to switch rooms. she's hates it here by the way and she's leaving after the year. but i don't think i could stand living with her for another six months. i've dropped hints about her living in a single, but its not really possible. and i know if i talk to the RA, i'm the one that's gonna have to move out.

She is like my best friend. She started selling weed not too long ago. This girl in my school got caught with weed and was expelled and put in juvi. And this guy was selling crack in school and was arrested too. Well the teachers were suspicious bout my friend selling weed, so they called her parents. her parents looked through all her stuff and found her 2 grams! And her parents think im selling it with her! she is going to the police station later today and if she doesnt say who gave her the weed, then she'll probably go to juvi! (we r in 7th grade) and im scared that her parents will call my parents!
im really worried bout her! i dont want my bff going to jail!

my roommate is so messy. she leaves dirty dishes all over, there are clothes everywhere, books are just flung across the room. it looks like an animal lives on her side of the room. its progressively getting worst. how do i tell her that she needs to keep it clean. i don't want to be harsh though.
