My ex husband wants to join the navy. He is 33 years old and we have a 5 year old son. I support his decision because he feels like he is not doing well right now and in the military he can provide a better future for our son. We are good friends and I want to be supportive but I just don't want our son to miss him. What do you guys think?

My parents control ever aspect of my life, just alil background info about me, im a good kid, i dont really smoke or drink, i do good in school (actually i skipped one year im in college even though im 17) and i am generally a nice person. My parents are insane, they will not give me even a little bit of freedom, they restrict me from going out past 10 pm, they restrict the amount of friends i have (i only have a few like 5) They wont let me have a girlfriend or any friends that are girls for that matter (i have to keep those secret from them....), my dad has the habit of embarrassing me when im in a weak spot, for example if my friend is over he will bother and humiliate my friend to embarrass me and possibly make my friend hate me. I HATE THIER CONTROL!!!! i JUST CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE AND I CANT AFFORD TO MOVE OUT!!!! what can i do???

ok i used to really like this guy but didnt work out the way i wanted it to. now my friend really likes him. i really do support her with her decisions. but she constantly puts herself down saying shes fat and that he likes another girl (which is skinny) it really hurts seeing her be like this. i think she tries to flirt too much. just please give me some advice on what to tell her.

There is this kid that goes to my middle school, that is a jerk to me, and embarrasses me and my friends all the time. He is rude, and he gets me into trouble. Me and my friend were at my home chillian and in the heat of the moment something happened..(u know what i mean). We told each other that we won't catch feelings if something did happened. But we would still be friends.
And now I was wondering...he usually calls me at break and he ain't called. Me ain't texted me either.
I ain't catch no feelings that is my boi...but what you think happened? You think he don't want to talk to me anymore?
He was doing all this talking in the heat of the moment but now it's like....I ain't got no message or call...

I'm dating this guy that I have been interested in for a while. Things are going great, we spend some time together each day and we like each other a lot. One thing is though that we are very different- we really fall into the whole "opposites attract" idea and we varying interests and do our own thing a lot. Is this okay? Have you ever think that, if you are given a chance to go back to the past and change the future, will you love to go back and chance those decision that you had make? or you have no regrets on everything that you had done in the past?

Sometimes i really think that "if i can have another chance in life to go back to what i've done, i'll make it different, better, etc". Yet, sometimes i think that "if i go back to the past, i'll still choose the same, and i don't regret it".

Anybody ever think of it?

I want to challenge myself that I can to good. I want to loose much weight, trying to speak and write englsh nicely and in flunclly. So we used to im all the time..and then he disappeared for ages..figured it was just one of those online things..whatever..then he tells me he was in diabetic coma (hes diabetic)and thats why he didn't contact me..and he tells me all this worrying stuff about his health..so we email back and forth for a bit and then he drops off the planet again and I email him back that i am worried ..is he ok? wondered whether he had collapsed again..and nothing for days so I rung him cos he gave me his address and all his phone numbers ages ago..and I rung him and hes fine..just doing heaps of hospital tests and medicated and busy and he says he will be there all day sat and sun if i wanna im and he liked hearing my voice...but i am suspicious of him. Even tho hes been nothing but nice and lovely to me part of me thinks its all a load of shite and hes playing mind games with me. What do you think?

they say taurus people are calm, easy going people all true but there is a point when a taurus can stand in the ground and not move.

i am genrally like the taurean character and yesterday i think i hit the "taurean rage" its not a preety sight... so heres the storey

i have always had this tag along into my group of friends (hes a scopio) anways over the past 3 years he was controlling always putting me down saying im dumb **** and such... i just thought it would blow over, anway yesterday i could not stand anymore of it he did not exspect it, went up to him tried to talk he just kept calling my mum saying she a whore i really got pissed then so much in my life... it was unbeliveble the amount of rage i felt! anyway i hit him in the face then the stomach the hardest... and i just kept hitting him and could not stop i felt good it felt all that time i was put down and this was my revenge.

When he died, I felt so sorry for my parents. I never saw them so helpless and it broke my heart. I had to be strong for them and I had to forget about my own grief. But now , depression is really getting to me. I miss my brother so much and I find it hard to let go. He's gone but I get to live longer. I miss him so much. How can it be better when he's no longer around? Life doesn't make sense.
