Father, we lift up this precious family to You. Father, we know that all things are in Your hands. Thank you that this family is also in Your hands. Thank You for sending them a peace that passes all understanding and for sending them Your Holy Spirit to comfort them. Please heal them and fill them with Your love! I want to pray for the family of this little boy who died in his sleep. I know they are hurting so much to have lost him. Please comfort them, put your arms of love around them, and hold them close to you. Thank you for using this friend of theirs to ask for prayers since this is what will help the most at a time like this. God, I know you have all things under control and I thank you for that. I know that you have promised that all things will work together for good. I praise your name and for what you will do for this family. I pray this in Jesus' name, AMEN!

I think this is a wonderful gesture on your part and it speaks well of your friend's choice in friends. I don't know how appropriate this prayer is but it has helped me through some dark times. I hope it will help your friend as well.

I know it's an old children's prayer, but it just seemed right for the moment.
I'm sorry for you and your best friend and her family's loss. I can't imagine what that must feel like to have him not wake up like that. Just be strong and be there for each other when you need each other most.

I am so sorry about what happened! I wasn't quite sure what to pray or who to pray to so I just wished that everything would be alright, and that you, her and her family would be okay. Lots of hugs and kisses, and I know this probably won't help but please have a smiley face! I give smiley faces to people when their sad, and I know it's stupid but I just want to help.

i am sorry for your loss. i will keep you and your friend in my prayers. two years ago my husband lost his brother to brain cancer. it was the hardest thing to see someone you love pass away. especially so young (he was only 23). may your friend's brother rest in peace and i hope he didn't have to suffer any pain. god bless you.
