weird girls at school?

or not weird? there r these 14 y/o girls at my school who have already had sex, and some do it regularly!! I've been told it is perfectly 'normal' to be interested and look at web porn or something like that when your 14...but these people are young and actually have sex! this is weird. right??

Nope. They are doing what is right for them. 14 is old enough to basically know what is right and wrong for you.

Now, if they are putting themselves at risk for STDs and pregnancy, that's another thing. Again, they are old enough to know how to protect themselves.

If you really care about them, you could suggest that they visit a Planned Pregnancy office, just for a check-up, to make sure they have all the information they need.

Looking at porn on the web is not weird. Its a natural thing for human beings to be curious especially at a young age. Having sex at a young age is kind of weird ( in my opinion ). I believe young people treat sex as if its as common as a hand shake or a hug. It is not. Sex is a sacred thing to me. Your sharing your body with another person. Its very intimate and I don't believe a young person is capable of dealing with all of the consequences that come with it. Usually their parents are the ones left holding the ball and that's extremely selfish and unresponsible.

The thing is this...most young people around that age are not mentally or emotionally ready for all of the baggage that comes with starting a sexual relationship. Hell, I'm 25 and I'm still waiting for the right time. Its different for everyone. Yes, what you decide to do with your body is your own business, but I think that young people should wait until they are a little older to make that decision. I have friends who had their first sexual experience at that age and some around 16. They now say that they regret it and wish that they would have waited.

Some say its not that big of a deal because sex is over-rated. Fine. For some it is. All YOU can do is decided what is right for YOU. Should you judge those girls? Absolutely not. Its not our job to judge others. What they do is their business as long as it does not effect you.

And please don't let those girls or anyone else make you feel like your a freak because you don't engage in sexual activity like they do. Peer pressure is a *****, but its cool to be a leader and not a follower.

I sound like my father. Damn I'm so wise.

Ohhh and if those girls are having sex without protection please advise them on doing so. There are some nasty diseases running around out there.

it's not weird, it's life. People today are so focused on sex. it's the center of everything: television, books, movies, music, careers, relationships. Some people just start early. I believe that those people will have major issues later in life. Anything to do with trust, pregnancy, or disease. Those kids just didn't have good parents or good friends. I am still a virgin and i'm 20, perfectly happy. I get lonely sometimes but at least i'm not going to regret anything that occured in my life.

It is not normal. These girls are much too young to be having sex. and the guys they are having sex with are breaking the law, the minimum age in some states is 18 years old, and other states it is 18. It is considered statutory rape if the girls are under 18.

It is very sad, and you should consider reporting this (anonymously) to your school counselor or teachers. I'm sure their parents would like to know what their kids are doing.

Not as weird as you may think. The number of kids having sex at age 12 and younger has drastically risen (sadly). I blame it on the media, making kids want to grow up way too fast.
Those girls you're talking about...already have a "reputation," And it's not good, if you know what i mean.

Stick to your guns (virginity & homework) and wait for the right time. I applaud you for not giving in to peer pressure. Your future boyfriend/husband will applaud you for your convictions also.

Myka I don't think that sex is weird it is a beautiful thing but there is a time and place for everything. I do think that they are too young buy who are we to tell them that. If that is what interests them then that is there problem. You need to do what you want do not follow everyone else because they are all doing it be your own person and do what you want. Remember that.

Its weird, its wrong...its too soon.
When i was in H.S. there were people at my school having sex too. But no matter what dont feel pressure to do it too. In reality those girls have low self esteem and want boys to like them so they give it up.
And do you know what boys think about girls who have sex that young???
they think those girls are NastY!!...sluts and are hoes...
And some of them have diseases like HERPES...
Do you want that????? Then keep those legs close.
sex is way too complicated for 14yr olds to be having it regularly... That's crazy. Keep your legs closed.

She's no longer strange, she's in basic terms extra quiet than you. She is giggling at something she got here upon humorous, all and assorted does that. She would not communicate because she is shy. to recommend she has 'psychological issues' for this reason is shallow and insensitive. heavily, improve up.

its not weird but its not OK aether, have sex at so young age can be risky, your body its not developed in total way, so if u haven't had sex yet, please wait till you get at least 17 or 18 years old, cause things change very often at 14.

try to maintain you mind in other things because there is time for everything in this world.

It's not a good thing to be doing but more are do it and they are risking more than they know, There are 11 year olds having oral sex . and they don't see it as sex. Not weird just not too smart.
