i want to tell my mum about my new boyfriend. thing is as soon as i tell her my nan will be on the phone to me lecturing me etc. they just don't let me live my own life i'm 17, 18 next year. how can i make them see that it's my life, i cant keep doing things to make them happy. it makes it worse coz i woz the 1st born daughter and 1st born grand daughter. they're just 2 overprotective over me. plz help.

My parents are really strict with me and they allways have been. Its not because i screwed up big time once and so from then on...NO. they dont let me go to the mall with my friends unless they come with me. The same with going to the movies or anywhere really. im not allowed on the internet unless they're "supervising", not allowed to date, go to dances et cetera.

Im 15 right now and i cant WAIT to turn 18 so i can be FREE!

Whats your advice?

MY hubbi's step-father tried to be funni with me.. & i somehow rather told my mum-in-law.. My hubbi told some of his cousins and the whole entire family were abt to know abt this issue..
U know wat my mom-in-law did?? She immediatly changed the whole story tat i tried to Seduce her Hubbi,my dressing is improper and i used to drink & smoke ect ... My hubbi and i know each other abt 7 years and im a modern type of person.. My Hubbi's family side are kinda conservative.. But my hubbi is k with me isn't it?? Now i feel so hurt that my mom-in-law put such a blame on me..i reali feel so damn hurt!! argh!!!

Hello, this may sound stupid, but I'm 18 and I have lived with my mom since I was 2. She has severe bipolar disorder, and takes many medications for it, but still can have cycles where she has been in critical state (ie in mental hospitals, showing schizophrenia (hallucinations) etc.] And even though I'm an adult technically now I still feel ultra sensitive sometimes and still never know what to expect from her. I love her very much but often she can act quite peculiar and say harsh or irrational things, and I am STILL not used to it, I don't think I ever have been. I'm an only child and my dad doesn't talk much and I have talked to a psychologist about it before (she has a psychiatrist as well) but it never seems to ever really clear up. Today she said some really hurtful things and it made me cry which made me feel uber sensitive nd weak but its hard because its hard for me to talk to ppl aout it. No one seems to want to listen. I don't know.

This is my junior year in college as a pre-med student....Its only the 2nd week of classes and I'm already stressed out beyond belief. There are times when I just want to throw my books out the window and just quit....but I know that once I finish all my education it will all pay off in the end.

Who else is just as stressed out as me from school????

My 9 year old son has a father that shows up for visits when he feels like it and barely calls his son. I am constantly making up excuses for his dad so that my son doesn't feel like he was just blown off. I hate to lie to my son but I don't want his feelings to be hurt. I guess telling him that things came up or his dad had to work that day isn't a white lie that will cause damage to him. What do you think?

Next yr she wants to sign up for a fun practical arts class and drop band. She took piano lessons for 2 yrs-had to quit because of family situation. She studied Suzuki method violin & viola for 4 yrs in elementary school, and trumpet for 2 yrs in middle school band. She is a great kid, kind and good to others. Very smart-straight A's come somewhat easy for her.
Some people have said they were glad parents forced them to stay with band, others told me they wished their parents would have made them stay with band. Never heard anyone say they wish they did not stick with it. What should I do?

I consider myself to come from a good, hard working family, however my family is experiencing a major crisis with my younger brother. My family never thought we'd ever go through this situation. My older sister is in Medical School my other sister and I are finishing college and the youngest my brother...we just found out he is doing drugs and is involved in a gang. I have been researching programs to help him..but I have heard of these so called "kidnap" programs mostly in Utah, where they come and take the individual while they are sleeping and they keep them for months until they are completely rehabilitated. I have heard only great things about them. However they are very expensive. If anyone has any information I would be very grateful for your interest in helping my family as this may be a life or death situation. Thank you for your time.

"My lawyer Mr. Siegel told me the good news on the phone. I felt very happy, excited and grateful," said Jack He, Anna Mae's biological dad.

The He's and their other daughter, four-year-old Avita were all smiles Tuesday, despite spending the day at the hospital while six-year-old son Andy underwent surgery.

So well... i am indian(hindu) and my bf is colombian(hispanic) we are totally in love with each other and are planning a future togather... problem is my parents. I have a sister who is 2 years younger than me and she just copies everything I do! she buys the same clothes, hairstyles, if I get a pet she will get one nearly exactly the same. What would you do if your teenage daughter would forceably move you out of her way when you were too close to her, by shoving you? What about if she would not even acknowledge that you called her, and she heard you but never even moved? What if you asked her to do the dishes and a week later she hadn't moved, and you ended up doing them every night? What would you do if she hit you or got very physical?

I am unfortunately encountering all of the above.

I'm at a loss. I don't know where I went wrong...I'm a good mother.

I need some advice.

i just confused how to ask my parent to move to the other house without make them so broken heart with me? i am 28 years oldd, i have husband and two sons.. i just feel not to comfortable anymore to live with my parent, esspecially with my mother..
we always have argue and fight.. so it just make me more depress (esspecially i don't have job right now).. i have huge problem and i never tell them anything but when they have problem, she just keep irritating me and follow me all the time..her behaviour just make me crazy... i just don't know how to tell them to leave or move to the other place/house..

My BF of 5 years just found out his ex wife abandoned their daughter, she is living with maternal aunt. Child lives in Florida aunt is trying to terminate his rights so she can adopt. Other children went to their fathers. My question is can he get his rights taken away or will Fl give him custody, he has not had a relationship with his daughter in years but has mailed money(which we now know ex spent on drugs) but daughter loves dad and wants a relationship. We have mailed a letter contesting and are waiting for a response as we live in Ohio. He does not want to give her up but the aunt is acting real shady and wont even let him soeak to her and told him not to call house. Thanks in advance.
