There was an event in my daughters life that is best left in the know of a few people. However my daughter's mother in law assumed the responiblity of passing on information, that my daugther perfered to keep private and to just close family memebrs on a need to know basis, to my grandson's school, other family members and her work colligates. She then made rude comments along with a sister in law and a few others that had no need to know and do not know the facts first hand of the situation. The mother in law was only given this privy to the matter out of need to know and assuming she would excercise disscretion. What should my daughter do to let the mother in law know it was wrong and to mind her own business in the future? Is there a to the point poem I can send this person???

Anyone got any ideas? She doesn't really listen to music except for the radio, she doesn't read books, she already has tons of jewellery. I usually just get vouchers for her, but I want give her a gift this year - she is going to be 53. She loves ornaments but I think she has too many so am not overly keen on that idea. The best suggestion gets 10 points!!

I moved to the states six months ago and my brother bought a new house after we were staying at an apartment. he also just got married so moving out of the house was not a big deal for me even if my relatives say it was a low blow. after one week of thinking of staying at the house he told me the news and it took me about ten days to find a new place. i also helped him move his stuff from san jose to sacramento then to rancho cordova.

I just want to know if this is normal or if he is a real *ick

she moved in with us with alzimers. since my papa is in the hospital with a broken arm and pelvis. She seems to be working well, but I would just like a way to make her feel more at home. She doesn't walk arounnd much, she watches TV with us, but overall doesn't fit well because she stays at home 24/7 and my family is constantly on the run with sports work and picking kids up. Any suggestions?

I am a 17 year old girl. I am going to attend Oxford University in England next year. I am not abusing any drugs of any sorts. I am valdictorian of my class. I don't steal. I have a job. However, despite all of this, my mother wants to kick me out of the house. I understand that I can be rude to her, butshe has been rude to me my whole life. My parents are getting divorced and my dad has moved out to Arizona. My mother doesn't want me to live with her because I come home and I go into my room and shut my door and ignore her. All teenagers do this though! I don't understand! Is there some hidden reason psychologically as to why she wants me out of the house!?

I have a dark past. Something that is on my mind all the time now that I have a daughter. I was molested as a child by family memebers and I feel now that I can't trust anyone. I am happily married and I have a 10 year old daughter. We at times have family member who come visit us and they stay at our home. They are great people, but when it's a man staying at my house (an uncle or grandfather) I panic. I don't sleep at night waiting to see if I hear anyone going into my daughters room. I keep getting up to check on her. Her uncle's and grandfather are good people and they have never given me a reason to feel this way about them. they never made me feel like they are going to do something to her, but with my childhood I am very suspicious. I don't tell her anything only becasue I don't want her to get paranoid and not trust men. I have spoken to her about people not touching her in certain places, but I know what it feels like to be violated and I don't want it to happen to her.

I have a sister-in-law who keeps stealing from me and my family. My husband told me not to deal with her anymore and that we forget his sister and also his mother. the women in his family are really something. His mother wishes us the worst in the world and his sister, (my sister-in-law) keeps taking things without asking and when we confront her, she just shruggs and says...whats done is done and there´s nothing she can do about it! She cries like a baby and its really ashame because I really want to love and care for her but she makes it impossible...She has alot of personal problems but so do I. I told her if she ever needed anything just ask but she keeps stealing. Should I just turn cold and mean and turn my back? Need your opinion please!

A 53 YEAR OLD MAN WAS SEEING MY DAUGHTER (HAVING A SEX AND DRUG RELATIONSHIP) UNTIL HER MOM SAID HE IS NO GOOD AND STOP SEEING HIM. OUR DAUGHTER IS 32. MY EX WIFE THEN STARTS SEEING HIM AT WHAT LEVEL I'M NOT SURE, BUT I KNOW SHE DID DRUGS)METH) AND HIS VEHICLE IS OVER AT HER HOUSE SOMETIMES QUITE LATE. MY THINKING ON THIS IS SHE IS NOT SHOWING ANY RESPECT FOR OUR DAUGHTER AND NONE FOR HERSELF. OH, ONE OTHER THING IS THERE ARE 3 GRANDKIDS INVOLVED ALSO. NEED SOME REAL HONEST INPUT. THANKS

I am the oldest girl in the family, a college student with overprotective parents - in some ways, they'll "baby" me and expect me to depend on them...i've had my license for a loong time now but dont' have a card. Instead of just waiting for them to get me one, i was just thinking it of getting it myself. I am an "adult" in the government's eyes, i can work, etc...If i do get a car, will a get more of their respect? It's not like they can tell me what to do as much, right?

I know my husband loves me. I know he worships me. I just feel unappreciated sometimes. I pamper him when he comes home from work. I rub his back, give him foot massages, I will even prepare a hot bath. I make his favorite dinners. What I want tho is for him to notice that. I want for him to not gripe at me because I forgot to buy more papertowels at the store. I am not perfect. I have tried talking to him about it and he apologizes...but he forgets! Once he came home to find the kids in bed asleep, me standing in the doorway of our bedroom in heels, a teddy, his tie , with a cold beer waiting on him. He loved it. I feel like I do for him, but he doesn't want to do for me. a flower from the front yard or offering to help around the house. (I work full time too, take care of our three children and our house.) How can I make him notice me... and make me feel worthwhile? what am I doing wrong?

Sorry if this is long. I posted a question about a month ago about my mother in law on x-mas day she kicked me out of her house, pushed me when I tried taking my daughter with me & then threatened to take my daughter away(through courts although she will never get her because she has a sexual misconduct on her record). Anyway last night she called my husband & told him that I need to forget what happened, get over it and start talking to her. I told my husband that I will not forget, how am I suppose to forget someone kicking me out of their house, pushing me and then threatening to take my child away. My husband told his mother that I am not going to talk to her & he isn't going to make me, so than she said well I better start getting to see my granddaughter every sunday or I will show up at your house at 6 everynight. I agreed to let her take her on sunday feb 4th even though it was against my better judgement. Also she threatened to take us to court again. I live in IL. What to do

A year ago I moved back in with my mother.First of all,I just turned 30 years old,I have 4 girls ages,9-13,all living with me.I had been living on my own since the age of 17,working and taking care of my children. It all started 2 years ago when I met "Mr. Lewis".I can't tell you how I first got all caught up with him but after a while everything I did revolved around him and I couldn't concentrate on much else.Everything started falling apart,I lost my motivation to keep a job, worrying about him and what he was doing.I couldn't give my girls the time they needed, and soon I lost my house. It's been a year and we still have been involved but I've grown tired of the ups and downs so now I'm ready to get it together, where do I start?HELP!!!
