well... they gotta know. And why is it you got the C and D??
Better have honest answers for that too. If it's cuz you're not doing the work... suck it up. "Yep... I messed up mom and dad and here's what I am gonna do to fix it. I didn't realize I had messed up THIS badly!"
BUT if you're having real problems, deal with it and tell your parents you need extra help or tutoring, or a change of programme.
Deal with it now, or you'll be dealing with it again next year.

If there is hitting involved though.... take it to someone you trust Bad grades are not a hitting offense... well... nothing is a hitting offense.. keep that in mind too. If you're THAT scared... talk to someone... soon.

Break the news 2 them when they're in a good mood. Separately. Tell them u barely understood the work and u tried your best. Tell them u had hard teachers that wouldn't go over the work twice.

Tell your parents the truth and give them the exuse why you didnt do well. Then if they hit you I would contact the police and or go to a relatives house for the night and tell them about it and hopefully they will be able to help you.

I use to take a black ink pen and dot dot dot make my "C" to a "B" and "D" into a "B" and gave my report card when my mom didn't have her glasses on. Good luck. If you go the truthful way then tell them you set up some after school or during lunch help with your teachers.

Tell them now and get it over with. I was a straight A student until I got to 11th grade (you can guess why). My parents took it well and everything turned up great! A few bad grades won't really hurt you. I went to college, no problem!

If their going to hit you don't tell them tell your guidance councillor.
If all they are going to do is "Beach"....well then tell your guidance councillor you need to fix the problem as soon as possible, any way to upgrade marks by extra work??? If so then tell Mom and Pop, your going to fix it AND DO IT, if not, still gotta tell Mom and Pop. Seriously though hitting needs immediate guidance councillor talk.

Don't tell them girl. Throw that report AWAY! Well... that's what I would do. If somehow they find out, blame it on the teacher and say you didn't understand the instructions even when she tried to break it down to you.
