If your daughter is fifteen about to turn sixteen next month. Makes A's and B's in school. And her and her boyfriend are going out for almost 2 years. If she invited her boyfriend over to her house and they were outside, without u knowing. When you found out, would you ground(punish) her or would you tell her she cant talk to her boyfriend anymore.

Do you think she'll listen?

Explain.

Do you think that it's fair that since I go to the movies alot with my friends, but me and my sister do not get an allowence, and our chores are manditory, not something that is rewarded with money. I can't change my parent's view on this. I am not old enough to get a real job, and I can't babysit because my neighborhood doesn't have any children that need a babysitter.

My parents get mad at me when i start asking for too much money. The tickets cost 6.25 and I guess after all things I buy, it is like 9.50 a movie trip.

The only money I get is from holidays and super special occasions. Is it fair that my parents get mad at me for this? Where can I work up money?

It seems that we rarely accept "here and now" for just that, I am thinking about his because of the end of another year, of course the older I get the more I think about things like this, at 41 it's like I am still waiting for something like I was when i was 15 and waiting for my drivers license, only now I am waiting for my newest born to stop being colic! lol, so what are you waiting for? are we waiting away our lives and missing the days? will we remember back in the day only to remember all this waiting? any thoughts?

my mother and father can never get along when it comes to family.
every time my mom starts to talk about my dads family my dad talks about hers and then they get into a big fight every time and i try to talk to them and say if they cant say anything nice about each others family dont say it at all,but it never ends up that way they always start to argue then not talk, and sometimes what they say about each others is really mean,so does anyone have any experiance with parents like these and could you tell me what you did to stop them from getting into an argument every time,ps.there fighting is really about whos family is better,my dads side is a little more laid back and my moms side is more stuffy.

i have been living with my boyfriend for 3 years in my rental apartment. he owns his own luxury apartment across the road, but refuses to live there! he doesn't even rent it out, it is just collecting dust while we live and pay rent in a tiny little flat.
i took him to a session of relationship counselling so we could work out our living situation with the help of a neutral mediator.
my boyfriend point blank refuses for us to move into his apartment (it apparently depresses him, and he sees it only as a "nest egg", not a place to live). despite me offering to renovate, and promising that i will never try to claim half of it (as a de facto), he still refuses for us to move into it. the counselling session- we reached a conclusion- he HAS to rent it out, and we move to a bigger rental apartment.
this is ok i guess, but i would rather the security of a place that is OWNED, not rented.
what should i do?

for many years and she is very close with our family. we love her very much. for christmas, i am framing some of my mom's drawings for my two brothers.(she was quite good). my father mentioned to me that he would like to have one of her drawings as well. is it appropriate to give one of them to my dad for christmas? i have a wonderful drawing of a sea captain my mom drew that i know he would love. should i wait for another time? and if i do give it as a christmas gift, should i tell his wife what to expect ? i don't want her to feel out of place or that we don't care for her. it's just that my mom was one in a million(ok maybe i'm biased) and we still miss her very much.i have all of her drawings and i really want to share them with my family and i'm babbling. well, you get the point. what do you all think?

My 3 grown sons haven't spoken to me in over 2 years. They told me not to contact them ever again. I really don't understand why. When they were little, I was straict because I didn't want them to turn out badly. We lived in a low income neighborhood. They went to private schools and I kept them busy with sports, boy scouts and family activities. 2 of them are Captains in the US service and one is a troubled adult who suffers from diabetes and asthma. Especially this one I miss, as he was so sickly and we were forever together.
This really bothers me in the night, missing them so much I have dreams about them all the time. The one son told my mother that all I need to do is apologize, but says I know what for. I DON'T KNOW. They won't answer emails and changed their phones. Their father and I have been divorced for 17 years and they visit him all the time. Is there anything I can do besides pray for help?
