My mom used to tell me when I was younger and didn't want to do my homework she would say "masturbation is like procrastination, you're only ******* yourself." Have you heard that before? LoL, and also was it okay for her to tell me that only being 10? I mean, I didn't understnd what that meant untill I was like 13, but still. Just wondering...

I am having anxiety amidst "mother-guilt" because I refuse to let him stay with me (for the umpteenth time). I really don't feel I am helping him be responsible. He hops from job to job and seems to go through "friends" like he does socks. Yet everytime he is in trouble, he calls on me. He spends his money frivolously and comes to me to bail him out. I gave him money to move out on his own in 2002 but he came back in 2003 and just left again in 2005 (I evicted him). I don't want to see him homeless but he literally consumes me when he stays here (i.e., uses my toiletries, won't clean, eats all the food, won't buy any, etc.). I say, let him stand on his own two feet - he'll find a way to survive. What do you say?

my husbands mother is really hard to get along with. She ALWAYS thinks she is right when it come to really dumb things or anything for that matter....now about raising my kids: i have a schedual i try to keep them on it but when she comes home from her work (truck driver) she feeds my 5 month old son every 1-2 hours(and he is feed every 4 hours) and bathes him when she wants(his bath is at 8 pm every night) and does when she wants with him. I try and try to tell her to please respect me and my husbands schedual that he is on...but her excuss is that "im the grandma i can do what i want with him" im going crazy i dont know what to do I NEED HELP!!!

My next door neighbor is very sad because he doesnt have any money to get his family a turkey or food for thanksgiving. Hes so mean to everyone but i want to be nice and buy them a turkey. I was having personal problems with my sis a few years ago. I had no friends at that time.So my aunt saw my distress & would ask me if everything was ok.Then I started discussing with her about all my problems.She promised me that she would not tell anyone. But she has been telling her daughters about it all a long. One day they told my sis about what I discussed but they also told awhole bunch of lies with it . My sis was pretty upset with me. I was upset too so I talked to my aunt & she told me her kids wouldn't have said anything,I should trust her kids & my sis must have evestropped in our converstion.My sis lives out of state & when she came to visit I was upset about something my sis said so I called my aunt. Now my sis knows word for word what I told my aunt. My aunts is pretty upset with me because I don't discuss anything with her anymore.I am engaged to a wonderful man & she doesn't know my wedding plans or the date I got engaged. Now she is rude to my mother & mad at me.

I'm 52, he's 57. he was married 38 yrs, I was married 22 years. We're both divorced, thats just how some things are in life. Don't be quick to judge, you don't know full story and if your under 40 you probably don't need to state an opinion anyway, no offense.We've been seeing each other for a little over 2 yrs at least 2 to 3 times a week. His hours are different than mine so we find quality time when we can. God knows the heart so what I'm asking is, if we move in together do you think I should bring it up or wait for the man to bring it up? I don't think either of us are ready for marriage at this point until we get to know each others grown kids, etc.... Anyway, whats your feedback on the issue at hand? Ok so my brother is her fourth husband and he married the girl after only knowing her three months. The girl has nothing in common with my brother and they are both miserable. Yet I feel like its none of my business, nor is it my place to break the bad news.

O.K everytime I touch my step daughter she starts screaming and runs to any family that is around and shays that I am being mean and that I hurt her. One time we were getting realy to eat and I said come on let's change your shirt so we don't get it dirty and my husbands sister was sitting their and I picked her up to change her shirt and she started screaming and crying and ran to my husbands mom and said that I hit her and my sister in law was like no she didn't do anything. Me and my boyfriend have been together for almost a year. I didnt meet his mother until i got pregnant (Im 7 months). I barely met one aunt of his 2 days ago (He only has 2 aunts). We had planned on going to thanksgiving at my parents house because it has been years since i have spent it with my family. We had asked his mom to join us so she wouldnt be alone she said yes. Her and the sister that i have barely met always are in some kind of argument. Where she tells my boyfriend dont talk to your aunt because of this or that. Today she just asked if it would be ok to bring along her sister. My boyfriend replied with a firm no. She didnt stop there she asked me. I said i would ask my mom. I then talked it over with my boyfriend and he said a definite no. My question is how do i say no to her? I dont want to be a push over where i say yes to everything she asks. How do i put my foot down in a nice way?

Ok here's the deal. My sister is seeing a man and she invited him and his brother over for Thanksgiving dinner. My mom is having Thanksgiving at her house and she told my sister hey that's fine, invite them over. I have a really BIG sense of humor and was teasing my sister that I was gonna question the dude and ask him what his intentions are with my sister and when they going to get married. Next thing I know, my mom calls and told me I better not even think of doing something like that and then she started calling me lol "boy" and telling me I better behave my ***. Yeah my sister called my mom and told her and I got my *** ripped and I haven't even done anything! If you had a son, would you tell him the same thing? 2 christmases ago my mom got me a telescope for christmas, but it didn't work so she sent it back, I said it was fine. I didn't have a problem with it. So next x- mas comes and this time she get a better one. The thing is I never wanted one, I don't where she got the idea I would want a telescope from, so now every time, something happens, she says how she spent 250 on it and I never once used it. I'm sorry I just never wanted one, she keeps throwing it up in my face at times.

So should I just say I never wanted a telescope, and end the matter?

Once again she makes a big deal out of me and her son. She told me not to talk to him because everything I say is a bad influence on him. This Chick is crazy, anyway, it seems she got offended when I was talking on my cell and I called a Babe a Babe and told her that after I hit that, she'd have to get to steppin.
