Family - November 2006

My fiance and I have recently moved from Ontario Canada to Alberta Canada. He has a son that is still in Ontario who's mother will not let him come here and I have a son who's father is in Alberta. My fiance wants me to move back to Ontario with him, but I hated it there. He doesn't like it here. My family is here and his family is there. He misses his son, yes, but my son would then miss his father if we were to move back there... any input???

ok , my little SEVENTH grade sister suddenly woke up one morning andd suddenly she wants to be emo, does anyone else think this is the gayest thing in the world. she just wants to be emo cuz her friends are. now shes messed up and has scars on her wrists but she acts perfectly happy at home. she does all this crazy **** where she like throws things at passing cars and sneaks into movies and i really hope not but i think she coeld be doing drugs. is this just a phase? what should i do?

My sister, 17, has been seeing her boyfriend, 22, since she was 15 years old. I'm her oldest brother, 25. I used to intimidate this guy and threatened to kick his ***. Never actually did --cause violence doesn't answer anything, and as it turns out neither does intimidation.

I'm currently going to college and living at home. I see this man at my house everyday. For several months I've been catching them lying in the same couch at night time, which my parents forbid but don't enforce.

I'd like to know about what I can do to get this man out, because my parents like having him pay rent.

What should I do?

I have been with my husband since we were 14. got married at 19 and now at 25 we have 2 kids with the 3rd on the way. I have always considered my inlaws like my parents since i have basically grown up with them. My husbands step mom always slides in mean comments to me and I dont know why. I have never done anything wrong. All i ever wanted was a great relationship with them. when we told mother in law we were preg with the 3rd (and last) she said it was stupid. I told her she must be calling God stupid since he created this child, all me and hubby were doing was having a lil fun. father in law thinks 3 is too much but over all seems ok. He has 3, all with different wives. Mother in law just dont seem edifying at all. I love them dearly and dont understand why one minute things seem great and right when ur least expecting it.... BOOM mother inlaw says something that ur like what the crap to. I love them but im tired of the comments. I do defend myself. what do I do?

I'm 20 years old, and i've been dating this guy for just over a month, he's 32. He's the greatest guy ever! He's sweet, funny, romantic, he makes me feel like a real woman. We talk on the phone a couple times a week, and see each other when we can. We're crazy about each other. But i'm not sure how to tell my mom.... When i was 18 i has a 32 year old friend where i met him from work... we were friends nothing more, she got pissed off saying what does a 32 y/o guy have in common with a 18 y/o girl?.... Okay how do you forgot the past? I don't want to look back. I'm progressing now. I've forgotten and now today I remembered. Years ago my mother accused me of having an affair with my father. Ok, heres short of it.

My parents are divourced. I live 2 weeks dad, go to mom for 2 weeks. I have been doing for 7 years. But recently, my mom and step-dad have been invading my privacy. Over at my moms house, i have nothing to do. My neighbor hood isnt exactly mty kind of people. So I seek refuge to my computer.

I just came back to my moms sunday to find that my computer was hacked by them. They took out my password, took out some files, removed my old anti-virus, firewall program. And added Norton. It tracks everything. They even removed my Administrator status on the compter, so i cant install, remove any programs, change default programs, or any other Admin tasks.

moreover, this new Norton, blocks a lot of my programs, AIM, YIM and a few of my games that i play online.

I asked them tonite if they could fix it real quick to allow me to use them. they pretty much ignored Me.

Why is it that when you ask opinions of ppl, there always got to be that one dummy in the group to say something so negative. I ask a simple question about my child's problem, and some fool wanted to make it as a joke. This is not for games. Everyone has something going on with theirselves, and if not, then why are they on this site...right? So thats all I had to say. I know that everyone has probably heard this a million times, but although it seems impossible, I think I actually have the worst possible little brother. I'm seventeen, and he's twelve.... and he treats me as if my opinion is completley invalid in any situation. I have honors grades, and he's not very smart, and he calls me a nerd. I have only a few friends, and he supposedley has many and he never shuts up about that. No matter how many times I try to emotionally grind him into the dust like the insignificant little worm he is (lol!!), he just calls me a nerd, or says i have no friends or something stupid like that. If i try to smack him, he goes to my parents and I get in trouble, so i've given up on that. My parents NEVER take me seriously because he's just the innocent little kid and i'm the older, stronger brother who SHOULD be above this crap, but somehow, I'm not. I'm clueless as to what to do about him. My parents actually threatened anger management before, please help!!

I have my own home and family now but more times than a few I wish that this was all a dream and that I could wake up back at home in my old room with my parents and brothers and sisters all there still, just the way it used to be. Am I alone in this or does anyone else wish they could just go home

The boy is troubled emotionally and needs to see a therapist.The mother says she is too busy to take him.She leaves him home alone all day.She cannot control him when she is home.She lets him watch what he wants on TV, and eat what he wants. He has become quite overweight in the past 6 months or so. He is 12 Moving in with us is not an option because he is very unstable and defiant, has been violent towards his mother, and honestly I am scared to have him move in here, I know it would be a nightmare. We live an hour away, it would be hard for my BF to go bring him to a therapist himself, and besides the ex has all his insurance info, etc. He wont take her to court because she would not let him see the boy at all until the court date, and he has no idea how long it would be between filing and the actual court date. He pays for half of everything without question and that is affecting our finances here. She saves up the bills until they total $1000 or more, and demands payment right then

I am a 24 yr. old full-time college student, and my boyfriend and I reallly care about each other, so I decided to stay the night at his house. When I got home my mom was infuriated with me and threatened to take away my car and even kick me out of "her" house. She does not want me to be with my boyfriend anymore. My grandma is old but her light bulb certainly isn't dim. Today she hurt my feelings really bad and I don't know how to react or what to do. We were just talking and out of the blue, she asks if I've been to the doctor. I tell her no. (My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 yrs. but b/c I have endomitriosis it's really hard and I've already had a miscarriage) She says in a real mean tone, "Well there must be something wrong with you. my uncle passed away about a year ago and knowbody in the family really new the real truth about his death...we were never told what really happend... and when we ask my aunt what happend she gets bitchy about it and she ends up with new guys.
