I have my own home and family now but more times than a few I wish that this was all a dream and that I could wake up back at home in my old room with my parents and brothers and sisters all there still, just the way it used to be. Am I alone in this or does anyone else wish they could just go home

I feel ya girl.

I think what's really going on is that you need a break. A break from job, hubby?, kids, etc.

I feel that way too. Just to go back for about 3 weeks.

Actually if I went back, I would not just take a break, but talk with myself and make different decisions, ya know.

Anyway, if your mom, dad, bro or sis is willing to keep your kids for a few days, then let them and take off. Do this as much as you can. It hard to keep up the daily grind day after day with no change. See if they will help you out.

YOU DESERVE A BREAK TODAY!!!

I can honestly say i never wish i could be living back "at home" with mum and dad again, it was a living hell then, all the arguements etc were horrendous.
Although i would like to be 10 again, and enjoy/make the most of school, and no responsibilities/bills

I never want to move back to my parent's house. I'd probably feel differently if I had a nice family. I get nostalgic for other things, like old friends I used to have, but wishing we were friends again is just pointless.

No i would never go back i also have my own family. You have your own space at your own home.It sounds like you might be depressed. You might need to talk to somebody about it.Because there is obviously a reason you want to go home.Maybe life is getting a little stressful and you feel like you are carrying to much of a load.If you have kids I can see why you would be feeling this way.No home ever feels like your childhood home thats where you feel safest.

Freedom is a good thing!!! You are probably just missing that feeling of togetherness, and being taken care of. Arrange a family get together, or just call your parents and your siblings. I feel so happy for you that you have such closeness with your family! Everyone should be that lucky! Focus on that same togetherness for your "new" family. They will thank you someday.

I'm glad I'm where I am my own place. If I was a kid yea I'd wanna be at home. but now I'm older I know every thing happens for a reason and I'm happy with my own place. No one going in my stuff. My sister not taken my stuff.

No, I have no desire to live back home with my parents. I like living on my own and doing my own thing without anyone telling me how to live my life.

I love my parents but simply cannot live with them. They are VERY messy, and have different hours than I do.
