Read the book, Five Love Languages and then you decide. Talks about how people feel love. You will see what he is going for.

Ok no problem because you are going to go about it the smart way. You are going to go out and by your self a slow cooker.
In the morning before going to work chop up your vegetables, meat put it all in there along with your meat, spices, vegetable juice, put the lid on, turn it on low, and when you come home all you have to do is do the rice or potatoes make a salad and there you are.
All he wants is the special taste of your cooking there is nothing wrong with that and you should feel honored. In that way he can't tell you the maid cooks better.

OMG are you for real? Tell me please, what kind of physical labor do you do for 10+ hours a day that pays you well enough to hire a maid to cook because you are too tired? I need to get a job like yours! Heck, I'll cook for the guy! My man cooks for me all the time! We do for each other and enjoy each others qualities to the max! You need a real life!

I love it when my lady cooks for me it makes me feel special. Not that I want her to do it all the time. I would just get spoiled. Does he cook for you? Perhaps you could trade off since you both work and you could make it a playful game of who can make the best meal for the week.

After all guys are all about competition and pleasing their ladies unless he is from one of those other countries?!

Why does your husband want you to cook if you have a maid? Ask him this!

I agree with candycorn. Cook something really BAD and your husband won't want you to cook anymore.

Well My hubby loves a homecooked meal made by me. It just wouldn't mean as much if your maid made him dinner, as it would if you made him dinner.

He should be more considerate. You could ask the same thing from him and see what he says.
