my stepfather used to rent porn on video and then one day he got sloppy and my mom found it. i thought he was over his porn habit until today when autocomplete for websites popped up a bunch of porn sites. i've always felt that porn addicts are men who don't respect their partners enough and i feel sad for my mom, cuz if my husband or bf did this, i'd be a little upset. what do i do? i'm not 12 by the way.

I glanced at my dad's email, and i saw an email from her. Also, I noticed he was talking on the phone for like 3 hours, just like he did before....help...im really scared of reliving the last time... what now, tell my mom, or ignore it or what?

I have been her main care giver since day 1. Even though i frequently bring her to my mum's place so that she can warm up to her, she still crys everything my mum speak to her. The only people she prefer are my hubby, my son & of course myself. Would keep her by my side if i could; but our family needs my income.

My dad is a pain in the ***. He has a bad temper. He's lazy. He gets me on my nerves. I hate the way he treats my mom. He's never been thoughtful; he bosses her around. He takes no time to listen to her when she tells him something. He always thinks he's right… he’s so argumentative… he drives me crazy. I’m an adult now but I’ve been fighting with him all the time since I’m like 4 or 5 years old. I know he loves me and my mom but his character just drives me nuts. He has a lot of friends and people who care about him. Why is it that I can’t have a normal conversation with him without him saying something to offend me or bother me??? Why can’t we get along? What should I do?

so i have one baby now ,well she is one and i told my family im having another to they start going on and on is if i dont know what i am doing me and my partner have alot to give and so my frist has medical problems and i know its not going to be easy but me and me partner are very strong and we knnow what we are doing so whats the problem??

My mom grew up in poverty.When young,she worked hard 2 earn money so that her brothers and sisters can get proper education.When she married, it was not exactly a happy marriage but she held on for the sake of me & my brother. My father died 10 years back & she had to work again after a gap of 25 years.I became an engineer and my brother a doctor because of her hard work. i had a love marriage 3 years ago,not exactly against her wishes but she was not exactly happy with it either.Now, after a big fight, my wife has walked out of my home.and my wife has flatly refused to try to reconcile.
my mom, in her old age, has to witness all this. She is upset all day. I WANT 2 MAKE HER HAPPY, BRING SOME CHEER IN HER LIFE. HOW DO I DO THAT. PLEASE ADVICE, PLEASE HELP ME.

i am 24 years old, i live with my mom. Lately, mom really gets on my nerves. I love my mom but most of the time, at my age, I really want to have my own life, my own apartment and eventually my own family. my husbands cousins gave our 3 sons a 5$ jack in the box card for x-mas last year and they knew that we were going to be having x-mas together for 2 months. not only that but they were eating the jack in the box when they gave them the gifts. This year my mother in law is having x-mas day at their house and we are declining to go, my husband thinks that they were rude to give a "thoughtless" gift and doesn't wish to spend the holiday with his cousins if we can spend it at home. We usally drive 2 hours on x-mas day to his mothers. His family however says we are being rude for not appreciating the gift and thinks it sour of us for not wanting to attend. Are we being rude for wanting to stay home for once and do we have the right to be upset about last years gifts? Isn't it the thought that counts? But it seems to us that there wasn't any thought.

I firmly believe we need to enlist the services of a maid at my house. My mother works a full time career as an accountant and by the time she comes home is really too tired to do much cleaning. During the summer when my schedule was a bit lighter I was able to take care of the cleaning but in the school year I have to juggle my 6 classes with a part time job and I barely have time for dishes and laundry. Our house is in sad shape and the rest of my family are sloths when it comes to chores. When I brought up hiring a maid this morning my Mom started yelling like I was personally attacking her. This is not the first time we have argued about this issue, but I wish we could try out hiring a maid just for one week to see how she does. Mom doesn't even want to give it a chance and she's too angry with me to discuss it further...Dammit I wish we had a maid to help out!

I really love my parents, I love to make them happy all the time but I don't know why I always hurt them with stupid things I say.
