I have a sister who met up with an old boyfriend she had when she was about 18 (shes 51 now) He is promising her the world now. He is moving back here to be around her, taking on a tractor trailer job, and is promising her that he will pay off her mortgage, buy her a ranch with horses, buy her kids cars, give her all his paycheck etc etc...in exchange for staying at her house when he is home from driving the tractor trailer. Since she has been talking to him, she doesn't call me anymore or come around. Its like I just fell off the earth. The only times we talk is if I called her. Then she only talks about how she is going to have all this money...etc etc...Why doesn't she want to be bothered with me anymore?? Guess I am boring to her now?? I don't understand how someone could be like that! any advice? I'm feeling really bad about it.

After three weeks of high school, today I felt horribly lethargic and had a killer headache. To recharge, I decided to stay home, and my parents responded with anger. As of this evening, my computer, room, and basic priveliges are being taken away - and they're going to call the school and tell them the absence is unexcused (if this happens, a couple of my teachers won't even let me make up the work).

I know I can make up all the work suffeciently, and I genuinely felt ill this morning. I needed to recharge after working pretty hard these last couple of weeks. I signed up for honors courses and everything else my parents recommended/ How can I get them to revoke these punishments?

Part of this is due to the fact that I was absent a lot last year (combination of getting sick frequently + missing work), but I didn't think one day off would set them off so much. I tried talking to them but they are seething, and won;t listen. Any help?

For Thanksgiving or Christmas! See there's a few things that bother me. First and most important my 6 year old daughter HATES her and gets very upset when around her, so she can't just relax and have a good time because she's scared of her Nana. Then there's the fact that my mom owns a restaurant and that's all she thinks about. Last Christmas we loaded up all our presents, my 2 girls, I was pregnant, and we had to rent a suv cuz our cars were not big enough, and we drove 16 hours from CA to CO just to have 1 full day with her because she had soooo much to do at the restraunt and it couldn't wait. We spent the rest of the time alone at her house ( 3 days) OH yeah and then insted of her preparing a traditional dinner, she freaking brought home the daily special from work for us. No cooking with mom, no cookies to frost for the kids and no cookies for SANTA! So I've decided not to go back for the holidays. My sister had a simalar experance and she's bringing her family here! What to do?

I am 13 and of course puberty and girls are starting to happen. I want to talk to my dad, but that relashionship doesn't seem to be there with him and me. Me and my mom are fine, but I'm a guy so I wanna talk to my dad. (Our family is all together so don't think because it's hard to talk to my dad there was a divorce. Are family is all together. No divorces.) But how do I make that relashionship grow. I wanna tell him I like that girl at my church. Or the talk and all of that. (I am homeschooled remember so that cause problems with girls. I only see them at church. And there aren't many around my age I like) But how do I make that grow. That relashionship is there with him and my two younger brothers but not with me. HELP!!!

I need some advice. My sister-in-law has started seeing some guy and to start with i thought he was brilliant, but i have noticed that he is obsessive and he constantly texts and calls her if he is at work and she is at home. He has to sit right next to her and he always feels the need to kiss her and feel her infront of us. This 1was ok for the first few months but it hasnt stopped 5 months later!He moved in the day after they met and makes us feel unwelcome now. To top the lot i spoke to one of my friends who knows him and works for the same company and she was shocked to hear he was seeing my sister-in-law as he was having a baby with some other girl and they are still very much together! I confrunted him about the baby infront of her and he told her that they has split up and the baby wasnt his, she was a bunny boiler, she belives him. But now i see him with this other girl around the town and i dont know what to do. Should i tell her or not?

I know a couple of guys, they are very obese, one is short and one is sort of tall, have kids, married but they tend to stare at this one guy. They seem to get jealous if this guy is talking with a female or talking with friends and not paying them enough attention.

i know teens have alot of code words they use to keep parents from knowing what they are talking about, recently I found on my daughters Myspace thingy, some young man, quoted...."I cant wait until thursday so I can give you some blacks".......what is that? Anyone know?

im turning 16 and going to have a sweet sixteen party im going to invite a part of my family that i havent seen in almost 6 years.......... i would think it would be very akward!! my aunts and uncls all have kids and i have yet to meet them .... not sure what to do .... i suspect there will be a lot of questions...... but i dont want my other family to feel ignored???? any suggestions

My name is Mai. My father just passed away and me and my family are going for his funeral. We need help with our rent for the month of October. Because my husband is the only one working and I just started a minimum wage job but we purchased plane tickets already. We bought a two way ticket to go on the 28 of september and come back on the 3rd of october but they changed my dad's funeral date. I am 31, when I was 8 my parents divorced and my father remarried when I was 10. The woman he married to this day make my skin crawl, she drove a wedge between me and him and it is still there. I know she didn't do it alone, he allowed her to.

Here I am now, 21 years down the road and my grandmother pasted away a few weeks ago. She is literally the only reason I had been around all this time. Because I had been on the outside for so many years I was vertually a stranger at my grandmothers funeral. People didn't even know who I was or was affraid to talk to me b/c it had been so long. When it came to the Lady's Auxilary Ceremony they did, everyone in my immediately except myself (my dad, his wife, my aunt her kids and their spouces) all sat in the front, no one gave me a seat, I sat in the back and cried b/c they literally couldn't muster the strength to say anything, plus it wasn't the time or place.

Now I feel a void like I have no relationship with my dad.

My husband and I are getting ready to go on a cruise for our honeymoon and my parents are keeping the kids.
