Family - September 2006

I'm 22 years old and when I go to see my sister and her boyfriend they are like we have a guy we want you to meet. I tell them all the time that I can fine my own boyfriend and that I dont have time and I dont want to date any of their friends. Anyways.... Last weekend I went to stay the weekend with them because I had a free weekend and I drove to their house that is about a hour from mine. When I got there she had three of their guy friends there. I have never meet them and she keep saying to me what one do you like or would you date one. I got so mad at her. Anyways on Saturday we just rented some movies and played games and one of the movies had killing in it. Her boyfriend said see if you have a boyfriend you could hid your face in them. I dont know if I took that the wrong way because I got mad and told my sister that I had to go home. It was about ten at night and I drove the hour home. Now I called my sister today to talk with her and she told me never to talk to her agian.

recently (within the last year or two) it was put out by the media that livonia MI is the whitest city in america. how come we did'nt get to here what the blackest city or most mexican or indian? you get the point. the blak community would have **** if "they" would have put that out! (the blackest city) so why did white people say nothing? why ? because white people understand that all of that racist bullshit sould be over by now. my point is that we have to stop this separation. wake up! we all came from the same source and we are all related in some way or another. we need to get rid of the hate. it is our true enemy. everywhere, all around the world we are told to hate these people for that and tis country for that and so on. it has to come to an end or the world will.

Even though we are together for years , my fiance has a hard time bonding with my son. I mean, they get along, but he doesn't like to play lets say catch or go bike riding together, stuff like that, and I want to know how I can get them to bond better. I mean, in the past few years, he's only done very select things with my son. I don't know if I'm asking to much. My son has started showing some animosity toward him because he never does anything with him. And they have this jealousy thing when it comes to me. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions helpers?

A friend of mine's teenage daughter just started high school last year and she started cutting classes. She was punished, talked to, had stuff taken away from her, etc but nothing worked. They put her on sign in cards and she just forged the cards. The school knows this but won't take any action. Now it it's the second week of school and she hasn't gong to her last class even once! Her poor mother was sitting in the office crying in frustration. She is divorced from the girls father (not that he was ever any help) and is feeling hopeless and frustrated. I suggested brat boot camp but they are expensive. Any thoughts?
PS The whole Dr. Phil "Make a contract" thing didn't work.

Yesterday in the car, both my kids were in the backseat. My 11 yr old daughter was irritated by the fact that her little brother (age 8) was waving his hand in front of her face. He didn't even touch her. The next thing I know, she had karate chopped him right in the neck (adam's apple area).

Now I was very upset (yes I yelled! I know I shouldn't have) and didn't know what to do. I moved my son up front and made sure he was ok. But with her?

Immediately, I put her on the rest of this week and up until next Friday restriction from playing with friends/phone. TV fine, cause if she didn't have that it would be worse on me. But no friends. THAT she values.

Additional things: to write complete sentences on the following: ---20 ways I can manage my bx when responding to my little brother's bx.--10 ways I can show love to my brother-10 healthy ways I can respond to my anger/frustrations.

What else can I do? What works for you? HELP!!! not an isolated incident!
