Kids do get headaches just as adults do. Maybe for adults it`s more frequent cause adults have more pressure, more stress than kids.
I work with kids and Ihave two of my own. My first daughter had headaches since she was only 5 yrs old. It`s been going on until now she`s 17.
Usually when you see a kid crying or a kid with red and tears in the eyes , you ask that kid where its hurt, they usually show their head. Sometimes it comes with fever , cough, cold or flu &sorethroat. Also if they have pressure at school or at home.
If they are being abused. It can be emotionallyor phisically.
Sometimes parents do not pay much attention thats why we think kids never get headaches. But they do.

Actually that is not true. I used to wake up two or three nights a week with terrible headaches when I has 6 to 15 yrs old and then the just quit. I think they get headaches they just don't know how to explain and just come across as not feeling good. My mom said I used to claim my brain hurt. I guess that was the only description I could come up with.

That's actually not true. I had headaches when I was a child and now I have a 6 year old son that was diagnosed with childhood Migraines when he was 4.

Actually I started getting migraines at 11....and my daughter who is 8 already experiences headaches so children do indeed get them...just not as commonly as adults.

I think the main reason us adults get headaches is due to stress.
I have children and they do get headaches mostly when they have to do something they don't want to. I have known them to have them even if they haven't got to do something.

Yes they do. They just haven't associated them to anything yet. As we get older, we learn that most headaches are associated with stressful events in our lives so we learn to loathe them even more and get bogged down in the fact we have one!
