Family - August 2006

Please ignore this question if you are going to answer with a ignorant statement, it is not what I want to hear.
My husband is leaving for Iraq soon. My son asked me the other day, "what happens if Daddy gets killed?" I told him not to think about that, and then he says, "what if he gets shot and hurt?" I didn't know what to say because I don't want to lie to him, it is a real live situation, and we don't know if this will or will not happen. What do I say if he asks again?

earlier today mi mom got mad at me and started fussin and cussing like she was retarded and then she comes and appoligises like it was nothing and like i didn't even hear anything she said to me while she was fussin and cussing!!!!

i worked to support wife all through her nursing career, now that she's done,instead of me going back to the workforce, she insists i stay home and watch our daugther, which is better than a daycare..you never know how a stranger is going to care for your kids....my wife makes around $8,000 to $9,000 a month..stayin at home includes cooking (which i do by profession anyway)cleaning, which i dont mind, and tending to our two yr old....i do however game alot and watch alot of movies and cartoons and what not....my daughter and i do go out to the park, the mall, to eat out....but everything is as it should be, i mean nobody complains, i just get wisecracks every now and again from people, i dont mind the work at all....

My 3 year old daughter announced today that her little brother was outside with no shoes on. She followed this up with "He has only got his toes on".

Quite matter of fact and does make some sense when you think about it! Kids express themselves in such a simple way of viewing the world. Would love to hear any other such observations.

Last week I was hanging out with my friend up in my room talking about video games. Seemed like a normal evening until My dad confronted me after dinner and accused me and my (male) friend of masturbating together. He said he was hiding under my bed earlier and heard my friend and me talking about jerking off together. We were friggin' talking about video games! I have two sons. They are 12 and 11. I have been divorced for 7 years. I have joint physical custody I am supposed to have them through the summer and every other weekend through the school year. I have been arrgueing with the 11 year old constantly. He is very disrespectful calling me names (cussing), telling me he hates me and wishes I would die. I sent them back to thier dads home and they begged to come back. I let them come back and attempted to leave them home alone for 1 1/2 hours when I came back they had put holes in my door and destroyed the house. while trying to deal with them my 2 yr old got a hold of some pills that i had set on the counter when I came in and i was too occupied with the other 2 that i didn't put them up. thank god he is ok. I sent them back to thier dad early and told them they are not coming back. And if they did it would be one at a time. does this make me a bad mom? What else can I do?

What are his chances of him getting to see our child. He knows our son is his he's just trying to prove a point to his parents and new girlfriend.He was his up until we broke up. I don't understand. What should I do about this matter??? Any ideas please let me know even web sites. Thank You
