My 3 year old daughter announced today that her little brother was outside with no shoes on. She followed this up with "He has only got his toes on".

Quite matter of fact and does make some sense when you think about it! Kids express themselves in such a simple way of viewing the world. Would love to hear any other such observations.

The first time i took my 5 year old to the cinema, i was mortified!!
Now any parent of a young boy will know that little boys have no control of their 'little men' and just as the start of Finding Nemo began my son suddenly announced ....'Mummy, my willy wont sit down!!!' Yes i just wanted the ground to swallow me up especially as it was a crowded cinema and the rows behind us heard and started to laugh!
i laugh at it now but at the time it didn't seem that funny, believe me.

i think this was really cute...i have a 2 year old grandson and he does some of the cutest things..but they can be a handful for me now at times...once i had put a pizza in the microwave and then i went to the rest room...well time i got out he was getting the pizza out of the microwave...it fell to the floor...it was still cold and not at all done enough to eat...but the kitten thought she would try it and my grandson said aah my pizza....i can not write it like he sounded but it was the look on his face that the pizza was on the floor and the kitten was eating it...so needless to say he did not have pizza that night...he can not talk plain anyway but it was cute.....i would be interested in hearing some of the real cute ones you hear about...i would appreciate that....

My mother died when i was 9 months pregnant.I had my son a week after. He's 3 and never met his grandma. One day it was lightning and I said did you all see that flash. My son said,"Yeah mommy that was the camera,Grandma's taking pictures of me in the sky."Another a 300pound man maybe more came to replace my windows for better ones.He bent down to pick up something and farted. My 3 year old said,"Eww say sorry(not excuse me)see now I have to spray this room"Where's the Fabeze? Not Fabreze,Fabeezze lol.I told my kids to wash their teeth and brush their face.Meant to say wash your face and brush your teeth. My 3 year old again said,"Mommy I don't have hair on my face(to brush)I can wash my teeth first.I took them to see Superman and in the beginning of the movie my son jumped up and screamed Spiderman!!Everyone laughed and they want to charge 6 bucks for a 3 year old lol

Most of my family at one point of childhood, have all done different things. My little sis was in our porch and we went out to check on her. and she was eating a ladybird. She then spat the shell out and said "yuck. That bit is to hard." She has also used the family saying: "Im not full up, Im just saving room for pudding."

we were travelling to the seaside once, and in the distant we could see a working power station (the ones with the large concrete water cooling towers). My son, who was about 3yrs at the time asked:

"mum, is that the place where they make the clouds?"

My step son; who was 10 at the time was watching a music station, and he saw a D.J. going through records, so he turns to my husband and say, "whoa, you guys had some big CD's". He obviously had never saw a wax album before, and mistook it for a really big CD... toooooo cute!!!!
