My husband and I always seem to have the opposite mood swings. When I'm down or depressed, he's happy and when he's stressed or depressed, I'm estatic! It's not that his stress makes me happy, but everyone has mood swings, so you know how they go, nothing obvious has to trigger them. Same goes for our sex drives. His sex drive might disappear for a week or so when my is through the roof and when his sex drive returns, I lose interest in having sex even if nothing is wrong and I'm happy!

Anyone else have this? We just think it's funny that it happens that way. Once when we first started dating, we were depressed at the same time. That was scary! We tried to off ourselves together. It's probably a good thing our mood swings don't go together eh? Haha.

Is it okay for a man to leave a woman because she gained some weight? Why is it that the”bigger” girls always have the best heart.. Why is it okay that men can have weight on them, but woman can’t? is this just a man’s world? And we just have to deal with this. I’m the type of girl if I eat anything I gain from it, and it takes such a long time for my to lose the weight.. My mom is a nurse!!! ( and she tells me that I just need to starve myself) wtf? And she has been a nurse for 32 years.. Is that just what women have to do??

i am about 20 pounds over weight, i lost alot of weight, but when i dated my ex i gained it back, my friends do drugs to keep them self smaller...my ex left me for a skinner girl because his friends made fun of him. i feel so bad about myself, and all my mom has to say is starve yourself... what do ya'll think about this?

Can anyone give me ideas of some different songs to play when I am walking down the aisle in December? I really dont want to use the traditional wedding march music. I like stuff like enya, and irish tunes, and I love classical music but would really like to hear from others what they used or if they have any good ideas ;)

Thanks so much!

Why do people always say that. Its as if New York is the only place to "make it" and if you try to make it elsewhere you wont make it unless you make it in New York first.

There are loads of people who have pursued their careers and ventures in other cities and have mega-success.

Why is it that New York is looked at as the "only place to make it", and if you dont make it here you cant make it nowhere else?

I lived in NY all my life. I'm 44 years old and I'm ready to LEAVE this city and start a life elsewhere. Does this mean I'm running away from the challenges in New York or I'm scared and want to try to make it in a city that's EASIER to "make it"? Does this mean I'm giving up in New York and I wont make it elsewhere?

He drinks A LOT. Usually about 12 beers a day. We've been married for 8 years. He drank when we met, but not like he does now. I asked him to cut back back just one or two beers a day for a while, and he flew off the handle. He yelled, called me names, and tried to justify it so many ways... One time I printed out a list of long term effects of heavy alcohol consumption, and the same. I didn't want to offend him, I just wanted him to know I care about his health. He accuses me of being selfish because I want him to get help. It's obvious to me that I don't know how to handle the situation because I'm seriously upsetting him. I need help. How can I talk to him about this without pissing him off? What can I do to get him help?

My son's father died without a will. My son is 22. His uncle is taking over everything and selling possession with my son's permission. Is that legal? I thought the direct heir had to sign whatever papers needed to be signed to sell anything?

My mom was supposed to be watching my 2 boys & my 7 year old daughter' the boys are both early teens i get a call at work from my daughter ,she told me that my 31 year old brother just showed her his private so i told her i would be there right away so i went &picked them all up &took them to the police department to make a report ,the detective told me he would get back in touch with me in a few days after he questioned my brother, he never did call me or anything ,i had to call him back when i called him he said he turned it over to the district attorney so i called the d.a. &they said he the detective never turned in any report to them about my daughter so it has been an ongoing unresolved problem since this happened ,the detective did say that because my brother gets a disability check that the d.a. probably just dropped the case i don;t consider him disabled because he has 1 daughter that is almost 2 and another daughter due next month.

A good friend of mine is having a party tomorrow night and wants me to crash at his place. I have work from 10-4:30 tomorrow and could be at his house and such for the party.

Problem is Friday I am working a late night shift from 10:00 P.M. - 4:00 A.M. Saturday I'm busy with my mother's birthday.

Is it worth it to stay at the party or should I just come home and sleep?

Here it goes.. I was with this guy for 5 years, 4 1/2 of those we live together in a home we bought together. When we broke up I guess I really didn't believe it at first and then reality really sank in!!! I tried to get him back we spent a lot of time together and then I found out there was a new girl he was also spending time with. Still not sure when exactly they started spending time together while we were still together or just weeks after. Three years later and he's still with her... Now I'm not a very vengefull person and I believe he's to blame not her however I still think she should have backed off and gave him a little time to grieve. Now just recently him and I ran into one another and to get right to the point we had sex. I still miss him and have regrets, I still wish things could have been a lot different. Is it so wrong of me to want her to hurt like I hurt, all I can think about is how I can make her find out.. Should she know???

My friend needs to get a divorce from her husband. They have a 12 year old son. He threatens her by saying he is going to hurt her and do anything he can to have his son in his life and out of hers. She can not afford an attorney. All the ones that she has called said they she needs to be able to put down $3000. Her husband does not even have a job so he definitely will not be able to get an attorney and fight her for anything so she's not worried about that. I know that you can basically do your own divorce by going online and filling out forms, but I don't think you can if a child is involved. She has contacted legal aid and she qualified for help but they were not able to find her an attorney to help her for free, so she is right back where she started. Does anyone know of anyways she can get help, or maybe get it done cheaper?

My husband and I both work all day long and have 2 children (4yr, 7m). We used to have sex all the time...but now hes either "too tired" or "not in the mood" and I always seem to have to initiate it! I work just as much as him if not more...as i work all day and then come home cook, clean, put the kids to bed...and I am like begging him to have sex after all this and he'd rather watch tv....now he is a great father and husband other then this...and ive already talked to him about it...but its not getting better...im not going to ruin my family or my kids life by giong elsewhere...and im not just going to play with myself every night...but im so over having to beg him to have sex with me....(by the way i have an athletic body) so im not fat or anything like that...any suggestions??

My ex partner and i split up when my daughter was only a few months old, he then (after about a year applied for access) he constantly let her down by not turning up for visits, it then got to the point that she would be hysterical when he turned up as she did'nt want to go with him, access was stopped so he reapplied to the court again for access to be re-instated.
when the case got to court he got up in the middle of the hearing and told the judge that he wished to withdraw his application, we have heard nothing from him since and that was over a year ago. Until today when i received a letter from his solicitor stating that he deeply regrets his actions and that he wants to take me back to court for access.
Does he have a leg to stand on?
My daughter doesnt even know him any more and doesnt want to see him, it would definately not be in her best interests for this man to reappear in her life.
Any advice please help.
