I've been married over 20 years and they've been tumultuous to say the least. Each year, it gets worse and worse and worse. Accusations of me cheating, ugly name calling, more time spent with equally abusive friends than with me. He's very distant from his kids, so much so that there's barely a relationship at all between them. He doesn't do anything romantic with me. He doesn't spend anytime with me at all. He just watches TV. We show no affection whatsoever. He's also been unfaithful to me in the past. Just recently, e asked me to stay with him but I don't know why if he's not spending time with me, doesn't know me at all? Should I? Everytime someone asks me why I do, I say I feel bad for him because I know how he was brought up but is that enough of an excuse?

it's very woodsy and it's in the evening, and they have twinkle lights up in the trees and candles lit hanging in those enclosed candle holder thingys, also on tree branches, so it's very pretty naturally.....any help though on more ideas, would be GREATLY appreciated!

My bf and I have been waiting for the right time (financially) to get married and feel like that time is soon. I've been planning that day ever since I was young and had my dream ceremony location in mind and everyone knew about it, including my brother's fiancee. But after they were engaged she asked me if she could have it there. How could she put me on the spot and ask me that? I said yes but inside I was screaming no. She should have known how I felt, that this place was off limits, and she shouldn't have asked at all! It's every girl's dream to have her wedding day be special! So after a week of sleepless nights, I told them I didn't want them to have it there but she said she'd already put down a deposit. I was upset by this but what's worse is that I don't feel like she cares. She didn't even give me an apology, my brother had to say sorry for her. I feel bad putting him through this but I feel like my wedding will not be special anymore. Am I wrong? Is there anything I can do?

My girlfriend who I have been with for a year doesn't want me to come to her sons birthday party. She doesn't want me to come because his father will be there and their divorce isn't final yet. She said this party is about her son and not about anything else. I love this little boy like my own son. I love his mother so much that I want to propose to her as soon as she is divorced. She said it will be a slap in the face to her husband because we were together before they seperated. I know this is his daddy but I don't know how she can just tell me I am not welcomed. I have helped plan this party and now I am not welcome. I don't know if I am asking for too much. I have a daughter and I would never stop her from coming to her birthday party no matter who was there or what the circumstances are. I don't know how to handles this situation...I love her and I love her son....but I have never felt so heartbroken in my life.

Say my husband files and I contest the terms. So I then submit my terms. How would that be any different than If I filed and he contested the terms. And than submitted his terms.
Saying that either way I would be asking for the things.

When I was in high school I was picked one because I was fat, nerdy and quiet, with glasses. My high school days became a bigger pain when someone spread a lieing rumor about me that I was playing with myself. However now I am the man I have the biggest muscles and the baddest urban wear. before anyone jumps down my throat on my question, please understand I haven't "dated" in 8 years ...

So my soon-to-be ex-husband told me today that his "mistress" parents and sister were in town 2 weekends ago, and he met them. Understand that I want my husband back more than anything, and please dont judge me for this. I'm trying so hard not to read into things too much, but I can't help it. Meeting the parents and sister seems like a bad sign for me when I want him back. I guess people introduce the person they are "seeing" to their parents all the time and it end up not working out. But in the back of my mind, i'm thinking why would she want to introduce him to her parents if it wasn't getting more serious? however, she DOES have a track record of going from guy to guy to guy to guy ... when she gets bored, she leaves them. any imput would be greatly appreciated. Please be nice, i'm already feeling really down right now.

I want to tell this guy I am friends with that I have feelings for him but I keep talking myself out of it. I keep thinking why would he want to be with me. Can a person truly and honestly fall in love with someone they have never met? Like people on the net are always saying they are in love with people they chat with on the internet....but can they honestly say its REAL TRUE love, until they have actually met the person???

I met my hubby on the internet......We werent even looking for that sort of thing....I was in a Canasta League on Yahoo Games and had been playing in the league about a year when he came into our lobby and asked about our league...he joined that night.....We would chat while we were playing our games and things just went from there.....We chatted by messenger, in our games and by phone for almost 3 years, before we met......then he came here for us to meet and 9 days later we were married. We have been married now for almost 3 years and have an 18 month old daughter....and we are both happy and satisfied......I think.......

I'm getting married in two months and my fiancee's family is paying for the wedding. They don't want alcohol served at the reception so I was looking for other options. We will have champagne but I was worried if it may look bad to others cause there is no alcohol. Did anyone not have alcohol at their wedding?? what did you have instead??

Is it really considerd cheating if you dont know that you are? Example:
Your dating a guy (We will call him guy A)
You go to the mall with a guy just hanging out(Guy B) Guy B says he's happy you finally agreed to be more then just friends.
Your at a restruant with a friend (Guy C) when (Guy D) shows up and says "Why are you dating my girlfriend?" And Guy C says "Because shes my girlfriend.

Does that sound like I actually led any of those guys on? I never said I would date anyof them. In fact Guy D is my X, Guy C is my best friends X, and Guy B is just a friend who Ive told multiple times I wasnt going to date. Do you thik Guy A (My boyfriend) has grounds to break up with me?
