Can a person truly and honestly fall in love with someone they have never met? Like people on the net are always saying they are in love with people they chat with on the internet....but can they honestly say its REAL TRUE love, until they have actually met the person???
I met my hubby on the internet......We werent even looking for that sort of thing....I was in a Canasta League on Yahoo Games and had been playing in the league about a year when he came into our lobby and asked about our league...he joined that night.....We would chat while we were playing our games and things just went from there.....We chatted by messenger, in our games and by phone for almost 3 years, before we met......then he came here for us to meet and 9 days later we were married. We have been married now for almost 3 years and have an 18 month old daughter....and we are both happy and satisfied......I think.......

I think we are happy LOL because people....(this includes family, friends and even strangers) tell us it cant be real because of the way we met....some people even get appalled at us when we tell them.......

Since you have been together in real life for 3 years, you are getting to know each other better. Problem with Internet love is people tend to only reveal their good parts or their made up parts. They don't let their other side out. So it is a fantasy rather than a truth. You can read alot of info about it at 'on line affairs' .
Why do you care what other people think? You know the truth about your relationship and don't have to prove anything to others. Be true to yourself.

Yes, it can happen. The fact you and your hubby are still together happily, should make that obvious. You're fortunate, because online love doesn't always last, nor even work out to meeting for real. I'm proud of you for giving your daughter a father, and for giving the onilne thing a try, with out giving up and with out hesitation!

Of course you are happy! Don't worry about what other people think. I think after 3 years and a child people would mind their own business. It's your life - you don't have to explain yourself to anyone.

Only you know what you feel. No one, not family or friends, can tell you if it is true love or not. You think what you want to think. I think if you guys are very happily married, and you are both in love, then it is honest and true love. :)
