My bf and I had no way to talk to each for a week, other than email, then when i did talk to him all I could talk about was this guy i met, and he got really mad.... I love my bf and i don't want him to think I want to be with this other guy, I've stoped talken about the other guy when i talk to my bf, but is there any thing else i can do to make him think i don't like the other guy, and let him know i really love him? I need ya'lls help.... Thank you!

Let me start with a brief history. Growing up my mom could be affectionate and loving but also had a really nasty side too. She angered easily and when she did she was verbally abusive cursing and belittling my brother and I. Often she would tell you how things ought to be done and if you disagreed she would instill fear, such as well this or that may happen. I am now 39 and over the past 10 to 15 years my mom has stopped with the cursing at me, thanks to some self help and me telling her to stop. However, she still is judgemental and will say things such as your house is a mess will endlessly tell me over and over your kids are tired and they need to nap when she know I have tried numerous times to have them sleep. I do tell her I've tried etc etc but inside I'm burning up and her comments to me often escelate to an argument. I give her credit for some positive changes but I feel I still have to explain myself because she assumes and as mentioned will keep repeating herself.

Okay, I understand that everyone should have their own say in what they do - but here is the situation. My wife and I struggeled to have children for 14.5 yrs, and we were finally blessed with our son (now 2yr). We're turning 40 this year, and most of the family is older (uncles, grandparents, etc...). Our son doesn't have any siblings (yet - but we're still trying). My family has health problems relating to the heart - therefore I resign to the fact that I will die young... My wife, on the other hand, is healthy - her parents and grandparents live long... Figuring out the odds... (and I know we could die tomorrow from being struck by a car - but thats different)... She put her own life at risk, knowing that our son could grow up never remembering her. Why couldn't she have gone before our son was born, or why can't she wait until he is a little older?

My brother who is in INDIA, is a Hindu, and is separated and has been wanting a divorce for several years, but wife will not give one even though she decided to separate from him. They have two teenage kids who follow their mom's advice and do not even see my brother. He has been advised to make his will since he is ill. He does not want to leave anything to his separated wife, he is willing to leave some assets for his kids but is afraid the mother will use the money for her own interests. So he wants me his sister to inherit his assets with the understanding that I would given them to his children if they get an education and are able to live independently on their own two feet, and live decently. I would gladly do that since I love my nephews and understand my brothers reluctance to simply leave money to them when they have no money sense and also the real threat of it being used up by the mother for things other than education. Can he make his will out so that I inherit his assets?

I am 35 and my boyfriend is 27. We have 2 kids together. He id not my ideal mate because he is not settled like i want him to be. He is just a street person who loves doing illegal things.. However, he tells me that if i marry him he will chnage. Of course i do not believe him so i have not married him. Now, i can just walk out on him but if he continues to do the same things when we are married, i will feel obligated to stick it out. I know better but just wanted to hear others' opinions about the situation.

My mother has had one heck of a life. She suffered from eating disorders as a child and depression throughout her whole life. When she was 19 years old, she got pregnant with me, which I'm sure did not make her life any easier. My father was on drugs (he died 3 years ago of an OD) and her boyfriend of 15 years (who she married last April) is an abusive jerk. (No longer physically abusive, but very verbally)..

My mom got her dream when she had more children. I have siblings ages 5, 6 and 7. My mom does a lot for our family + her husband (she runs his landscaping business).

We recently found out that my mother has a tumor, its VERY big. Some tests just came back bad (I'm not sure what kind of tests, shes not too clear with me).

My mother has made many sacrifices for me throughout her life, and she always thinks of others. I have been giving her my time - helping with the kids and the house work a lot.. but I want to do something more.
