the very first time he corresponds with you? I have been on a dating service for a few days now, and several guys have just asked me out the very first correspondance. Also, I have noticed some guys dont even ask questions to try to get to know you, or dont answer your questions. What do you think about all of this? How soon should you meet someone, and is it ok to ask for their last name and address before agreeing to meet them? Any advice would be appreciated.

My husband has just found work in another state and is currently renting over there and loves his new job as he couldn't find one near our home. We own our home and I am living here alone but have a great job here. Now he is getting angry that I refuse to be with him. I love him and want to be with him, but what about our home and my family that live nearby? Living apart is not a long term option as eventually we want to have kids. Can anyone help? What should I do?

Situation: My bf is paying a lot of money in child support so my future with him is at a very sloooowww pace. He took a new job so his salary is not up there yet but will be in about a year or two so the hopes of us moving on will be then. He says he wants to buy a house, get married and have a family with me but with his salary, he needs to wait.
Question: Do you leave because of the stand still relationship and the slooowww pace or do you stay cause you know he's a good man and someone you would want to grow old with.

My mother (who is now 73) always tells me that the only difference between my late father and me is 30 years and gender. I take this as a compliment...he was my BEST friend and we did everything together and I miss him terribly (he passed away May 25th 2005). Not a day goes by that I don't wish he were here so I could tell him "something". I actually look like my mother the older I get....when I was a child everyone told me I looked liked my Dad...dark hair, dark eyes..and I definately have his warped sense of humor....but now, at 45, my features are starting to favor every other woman on my Mom's side of the family...which I don't mind because my Mom is quite pretty (even at 73) but I sort of miss people telling me I look like my Dad. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've been married for 2 yrs, been living with my husband's family (of 9 plp!) since. My husband is the eldest and have always been looking after the whole family from sorting out everyone's car insurances to sorting out mortgages. My MIF reckons my husband's changed a lot since our marriage beacuse my husband is asking everyone to share the house work, and that he's thinking more about me and our baby's welfare more than their's. Whenever an arguement arised between my MIF and husband, my MIF would blame everything on me. She would say 'He's changed a lot since he married you, I don't know who's been saying things to him and who's been directing him to change'. But I've always treated my MIF politely, I've always asked if she needed help with anything, helped her cook, doing household jobs, helped revising with my younger bro in laws, always obeyed her, never said no to anything, never raised my voice when speaking to anyone in the family.
WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG???????????HELP!!!!!

My little sister goes through my room and takes things without permission when I'm not home. My room was converted from a second living room so I have no door, only curtains. She trashes my room whenever I do give her permission. She even came in my room looking to take something while she thought I was asleep! I've done everything I can think of to teach her how to respect other people's things and their privacy. I've sat down and talked to her, I yelled at her (which obviously doesn't work), I've banned her from my room, I've even cancelled special sister trips to the mall because she invaded my room the day before. We have different mothers, and I tried explaining to her mother that I'm tired of my little sister invading my space. She doesn't do anything!!! She yells at me for 'picking a fight'. I'm 19 and its pretty sad when my 11 year old sister can do whatever she wants! How can I make her see that what she's doing is wrong and disrespectful and make her stop?

I have friends and also associates that come to me for advice and help, people have told me that i should be a psychatrist when i get older....but then again i have my own problems that i cant deal with cause there is never time or i just am too busy dealin with other. (I heard this from him.) She asked him what my faults were, and he told her that I was impatient and likes to get a lot of attention (which I admit are true). Then his mom asked him if he was sure he'd be able to put up with that for the rest of his life, and he said yeah...

Why would she ask a question like that? And do you think she was dismayed by my faults? I think beforehand she thought I was a perfect, patient,and polite young woman-- but now she knows my faults...
