There certainly is, and many believe, myself included, that unrequited love (a love felt for another which is not felt back) is one of the most powerful feelings of love a person can feel.
I like your question as it makes me think of my first novel, which I published in 2005 - the story is very much a one-sided love story, a guy feeling love for girl fromhis past who he only knows 3 years later in the formof their dream-based relationship. Compelled by these feelings of unrequited love, he determines to control his dreamscape and find out what would happen were he to pluck up the courage to pursue a love with her.

Yes there is. It is when, (at least in my opinion) when one person in the relationship is in love and the other person does not feel the same about the person they are dating. You can love someone very much and they could never return the feelings.

yep there is unfortunatly,i hurts when you love someone that dont love you back,but you will find that someone who will love you back soon enough! just keep lookin!
