I'm a senior this year waiting for graduation. That could be it, but also everything I want is so far away....I want to get married, graduate med skool, start my own practice, purchase a nice lakehouse, have kids....

I remember when I was 15 tho I wanted to join a fraternity, drink, party, and now that it's here I can't wait till I find my sweetheart and get married....(im saving myself for her btw, kinda proud of that ha)

Why do I desire things in my life that are kinda far away? Can anybody relate?

Ok, my fiance and I are in a financial situation. Our wedding is June 30, 2007. Instead of calling off the entire wedding and going to the Justice of Peace, we still want our ceremony. All of my bridesmaid have already paid for there dresses, as well as myself (the bride). There is a no refund policy. I still want to get together with family & friends afterwards, but at a nice restaraunt we have here in town, and have them pay for there own food.

How can I incorporate that on the wedding invitation. I was thinking maybe including a menu from the restaraunt with prices, and have my guest RSVP with there order & there check. What's your opinion, how should I do it? I know some of you may say it's tacky & cheap to do it this way. But, I honestly think it's definately a money saver.

So there's this guy who I like a lot, but I can't tell if he likes me back.
He tries to make me laugh, talks to me, and stares at me a lot. But recently, I left him a comment on one of his facebook pics that said "hot". When I checked facebook like, 30 minutes later, he had changed his profile pic to the picture that i had commented on! But since then, he's not staring at me, or talking to me as much and he seems to be a little uncomfortable around me. What's going on and what should i do??

I would rather just stay here (in Michigan) so I can hang out with my friends since it's my senior year and a lot of my friends aren't leaving. But my parents won't let me stay home even though my 21 year old sister will be home. What should I do? We're supposed to leave tomorrow at 8:30, and I've been telling them all this for the last month or so, but they won't budge. Thanks. And unless you have an idea of how I can get out of going, please don't answer with the advice that going with them won't be that bad and I should go.

My fiance is in the Army and for financial and other reasons we got married civilly last Nov, but noone knows except my sister. We are having a Catholic ceremony and big reception this Oct. When we originally wanted to marry civilly, I wanted my family's ok, but my Dad blew up and would not condone it, he's very traditional. We did it anyway b/c it was the best for us and our situation. I'm afraid to tell the priest b/c I don't want to have just a renewing of the vows...if my Dad found out we're already married the whole day/night would be a disaster. However, I may have to tell the priest b/c he's going to ask to sign the license.....which we already have dated last Nov.

I'm willing to do whatever it takes to have a normal ceremony, how do I do it?? Please note, I really am a good Catholic, law-abiding, normal, kind person....just in a difficult situation!

I haven't spoken to my biological father for over 5 years. I had confronted him about something that happened in the past, he denied it and was upset that i confronted him infront of his wife(not my mother). He wasn't around much throughout my life...he denied his behavior and will not take my calls, returns b-day & father day cards (return to sender)...i hear that he is very sick(cancer)....what should i do, if anything? thanks for your help in advance.

ok i workout 4 times a week in the gym i want my body fat to go down to 8 percent so i can get that ripped chiseld look for the ladies i have a hard stomace and hard amrs and everything else is sculpted but i still have alittle bit of meat on my bones like the girls say'' do i have to be totally cut to pick up a girl , i am 19 college student athletic and a writer i am nice friendly allways have a smile on my face and i am going to be a radio manager at my school and please dont say stuff only on personality looks and personality go hand in hand my friends here is a pic of me

Theres this girl that i realy like and it seems liek a catch her looking at me. And eventually i started talking to her and she sat next to me. I was just wondering im always thinking about Caitlyn and im always wanting to be around her. She makes me feel alive and i feel totally comfortable around her. I think peole are becoming very selfish and careless regarding what happens to others and their problems. What do you think? Friends say they are your friends but are they there when you really need them? Do they know your birthday by heart (without you reminding them). Are they there when a family memeber passed away to give you warmth. If you loose contact because you move, does she try to even contact you? What do you think? ARE YOU A TRUE FRIEND?

My brother's wife left him and their two children and moved to another country. He is holding on to the hope she'll come back, so I don't think he plans to file for divorce. The concern is that we have elderly grandparents. God forbid something happens to them, will his "wife" be entitled to any of the inheritance he would receive???
