My boyfriends friend of 20 years passed away last week. His friend predicted last month he wouldn't last more than a month due to all the stress he had. He was laid off, his wife didn't want to find a job, his stepdaughter and stepson both stood home without working. He was afraid of loosing his home and then he had a heart attack and dies.
my boyfriend of 7 years has not spoken to me since he heard about his friends death, he's been giving me the cold shoulder and staying out all day without any calling or talking to me. I approached him very nicely and asked him if there was something I can do and there was no response. I overheard him talking to his friend that he wanted to be on his own and do things on his own. I'm trying to be nice and figure all this out, I know he's in mourning, but I am beside myself, not knowing what to do? I'm trying to be patient but I can't take the cold shoulder anymore and if he doesn't want to be with me anymore, then why not tell me?

i dont understand my mother in law...im in america shes in pakistan and we never met she dont even know engilsh and she never asks about her greand child here when she talks to her son i just wanted to know why would she never ask about her own grand baby....she never asks us to send pictres of here ...8 mos still never seen a new pic.....ive been sendingleft and right but now i stoped cuz she never ask anything about her like shes not even her .grand.child....thanks a lot

I have been with this guy for about 7 months now. I am absolutely crazy in love with him. He smokes pot, and cigs, and has previously lied to me but through all that i still love him. My parents found out about the smoking and the lies and they say that they dont "hate" him but they make it pretty obvious that they do. They are making it incredibly hard for me to live at home but i know that if i were to tell them that they would just keep me even closer to them. I really dont want to live here but i feel like theres no way around it. I'm only 15 and they would never let me leave now. I dont exactly know what to do.

I'm 15. I'm going out with a bisexual boy. That fact that he is b isexual is not an issue to me. We really get on, have loads in common and he treats me really well. But my mom found out and she wasn't happy. She said that it was wrong. She said that it's okay for me to be friends with him but she's worried about me dating him. I'm not going to take the relationship any further as I am not ready for sex but my mom said that going out with him is asking for trouble and that people will bully me because so many people are homophobic. I don't know what to do. I really like this boy. Is it wrong for a straight girl to date a bisexual boy and why?

I have a problem with becoming very insecure when I'm in a good relationship. I have to make a conscious effort to not become too overbearing and jealous but it doesnt always work. I also find myself getting seriously depressed over thinking about what might happen. Needless to say I normally end up sabatoging the relationship myself because of this. Any self help suggestions?

My sister is temporarily seperated from her husband of 12 years. She wants to take it day by day. Her husband is nutorious for playing mind games and making her feel horrible, his new game is to tell her that the children will only be calling him when they need something. She left so she doesn't need to be bothered by them. He is trying to make her feel crappy about her decision and it is working. What can she do? Her children are her world and only left them at their house so they would not have to be up rooted. She only went to our mothers which is only 6 miles from the kids. She is scared that the father is going to ruin the awesome relationship with the children --12 (boy), 9(girl), 8(boy). What advice can I give her? She is doing the right thing trying to get her head on straight, but he is making it so much worse.

I am a married woman who is interested in a younger coworker of mine and have been hinting to him that I am no longer in love with my husband and is thinking about separting from him. Before I told him my situation I had hypothetically asked him if he really like a girl and found that she was married would he date her and he has said no that he didn't want to be a homewrecker. I know he kind of likes me because I catch him staring at me and he teases me alot but probably don't want to persue it because I am married. Please don't give me advice that I shouldn't cheat on my husband. All I want to know is if he is interested because I really like him. How can I tell if he is interested because he is really shy making it difficult to tell. There are signs that I know he likes me but at the same time he would tell me he thinks random girls are hot, what does that mean? Is he telling me this because he is not interested in me or is he testing me to see how I would react?

I had a close friend I knew for 9 years, When I got married I chose her as one of my bridesmaids, but when she met her boyfriend and then he became her fiance she started to withdraw from all her friends. When she got married she did not have any of her friends come to the reception except for 2 friends, we were invited to the church all of the friends myself included were basically excluded. She said she wanted a small wedding with not too much fanfare. She basically became a recluse and when she had twins I asked if she was having a christening and she said I cant invite anyone but family it is too expensive sorry. She used to be a very social person and then she drastically changed, I dont think this is normal behavior do you? It is basically like she shut out all her friends just to be married.

What's up with a 5-year on and off relationship with a guy who lives far from you. We get to see each other about twice a week. He's studying, I'm looking for work. We had good times, and also bad times since High School. We have problems and break up once or twice in a year for like 3 months and always ended up together, even if the guy already had a short term girlfriend.

Does this mean we really love each other and can't seem to move on and live without each other, or is this not normal?

When I go to work I dont know him nor talk to him, but when Im in a conversation or I am near him, people tell me when Im not looking he's looking at me, what could that possibly mean?
And since I have changed my work schedule to ignore him so I won't have to see him would this be a better thing to do?

My husband has had several things happen to really stress him the past couple of weeks. Does anyone have any ideas on something I can do for him that would really make him feel special and let him know that I love him and that I am here for him??
It's hard to think of just the right thing to do for this big macho man. He has had a very good friend die and now has just found out that his father has cancer. Along with that, his ex-wife is trying to be in the middle of the family ordeal with the cancer and is only making things stressed between us..

my friend stephanie and her boyfirend is having a problem. her boyfriend likes stephanie,but he likes this other girl more than stephanie. and stephanie knows that. but stephanie wont do anything about it because she wants to stay with him. and he barely texts, or calls her! i dont like her being treated like this.
