John is dating Cindy. John and some friends go to a strip club. Joan is dating Billy. Joan and some female friends go to a strip club to see the females. Is it ok for Joan to do it and not for John? How is John more disgusting for it? Isn't this a double standard?

I got caught with my boyfriend in my house and now I can't talk to him on the phone or see him what should I do? I asked him if he would like a break since we can't talk and then when we get to see eachother than we can start talking but he doesn't want to.

I have this guy I've been seeing since February 14, 2007. I like everything about him, accept how he won't even pay for a $10 movie ticket. He makes me pay him back for the smallest items and tells me he's stingy with money. If he takes me out for dinner, and I take him out for dinner next week to pay him back (since that's the only way I can get him to pay for me at that time), he will remind me over and over how the dinner he took me out for was so much more expensive than the one I took us out on.

Yet, he says he doesn't want to get married until he can spoil his wife.

What's going on? I feel like a "friend", even though we aren't, and my self esteem is lowering. How should I confront him?

UK -3 years ago when my child was born, my b/f became very controlling towards me but only ref her. At 8 months i was exhausted and he agreed to take her to stay and give me a break (we were still together). I told him it was not a permanent arrangement but i still dont have her home (20 months). I have tried to take her home on a part time basis (joint care, which i see fair to the child), for nearly a year but which i have been continually put down, harrassed, bullied, and threatened! I finished the r/ship nov and contacted a sol ref my times to build my confidence again which he has been awkward and hostile and again putting me down! I have stood up to him on many occasions but it really pushes me to my limit! Since she has been born he seems very jealous of anyone being around her inc. grandma, her half bro, and a little of me altho this has intensified to such an unhealthy state that he storms off when she asks me to cuddle etc. Sorry so long...advice to stand up to him pls.

I have a very good friend who's daughter and mine don't really get along well. They are very different kids with very different personalities and interests. Sometimes there is conflict between the girls, and my friend always blames my daughter-even though her daughter is just as much to blame as mine. My boyfirend and I have been together four 4 years and lived together for about 3 of those years. I love him so much but at the same time I feel like all we do is joke around with each other, never serious or important conversations, bedroom activites have been limited to a few times a week, and he has no drive to change things (ie go to school, get a better job, imporve the relationship etc) I feel like a possible break might be the best option for us. We are both in our early 20's and I think we both really need to focus on ourselves right now (ie.school, friends being young) I still want him in my life and could see myself marrying him one day, but i feel like i found him too early in my life (16). We never fight and have never broken up or taken a break. Would it be a bad idea to take a break for awhile?

My bestfriend ( and my crush of 5 yrs.) came with me to visit my mom in arizona, we got there late and everyone went to sleep except us...he said come on lets go outside so i said okay them we went outside and he pulled his clothes off...to get into the pool, except his boxers and said come in i sat on the side and said no way...then he pulled me in. He carried me to the deep end and just held me while we looked at the stars...it was like 3 in the morning. We both saw a shooting star and he told me to make a wish, i did and then we went and sat on the steps and he asked what i wished for and then i said i wouldn't tell cuz then it would not come true...he said "what if the only way to make it come true was by telling someone?"...i just kind of looked at him and he smiled and then kissed me...and he whispered in my ear..."i already know...you don't have to say it." it was the most perfect first kiss ever... He's my bestfriend, does he love me to, or just leading me on?

Growing up younger siblings always look up to their older siblings. Why do they never admit that they do? Even if their older sibling knows it all along and point it out infront of their younger siblings, younger siblings still deny it and say that they never look up to their older siblings and say that they will never do so. Why do younger siblings never admit that they do look up to their older siblings even if they know they do? I have been thinking for a long time and I can't never seem to understand why.

Ive like this girl for a while, and she knows I like her. The other day she brought up an ex-boyfriend for the first time. She talked a little about him saying how he tried to contact her for the first time in a long time and she doesnt want to talk to him. She then asked if I wanted to see a picture of him. When a girl starts opening up about past relationships, is this a sign of going down the path of friendship? Oe could this be a good sign in that shes starting to feel comfortable with me.
