My girlfriend and I have been on and off for a few years now. A few months ago, I graduated college and moved in with my parents. We initially met when I was with my parents before my university stay which our whole relationship was based off of long distance. We started getting more and more in touch and hanging out together after a graduated. I ask her one day if she wants to start dating again, and she is not sure, but then says, "We will see how things go." We continue dating for 3 months straight and on her birthday she decides to tell me she thinks we are better off friends, but she isn't sure how she feels about it. She says she is really out of touch with herself and her health, pointing the finger at me that I am the cause for her not taking care of herself. She also says she has no time for anything. Mind you, I am a very athletic person and she is not so athletic so I try as much as I can to get her active and eat right. Is this a justifiable reason to breakup with someone?

Me and the father of my baby have split up but remain very close. He voulenteered to pay child support and help me out financialy, so that for six months I can be a stay at home parent. I will be staying with my mother for those six months so that I may be with my baby during the day, and when she gets off of work she will babysit for me while I go to school 3 nights a week. It shouldn't take more than six months to finish my degree. Once I do I plan on getting a great job. Mean while I was wondering the amount I should charge him. We want to do this without getting the courts involved.

I need help. My exhusband was very abusive and when I left I got out in a hurry no place to live or even a job because he harrassed me and got me fired. I have been fighting for my child ever since. He goes into court and tells them lies about me and no one will do anything to defend me. I can not afford an attorney and he had the best attorney in San Diego. My daughter is suffering from this can any one out there help me. I have court docs to prove my side, he just keeps adding more lies and more lies and the court allows him to do it. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!

Ok this question is going to directly take on a woman's commitment. (sorry, I don't know how to ask it niceley.) I read these forums and listen to people in real life and on the TV and radio; talk about how strong their bond is and how much they love each other.

I'll then hear a different story of how the sex in the relationship has to be of a certain degree. "Gotta test drive before you buy. etc."

So let's pose this question: You meet an awesome man, the sex is great= awesome, love, relationship, marriage, ok ok. Something happens(an accident,) that renders him completely incapable of having sex. Viagra is not going to save the day.

So despite all the "I love you with all my heart," marriage, "we're there for each other, no matter what." How many of you will now leave?

It just seems to go against the "guys only want sex from me" statements. Even now we have stories comming out of military men, with spouses/GF's that are leaving/cheating.

Hello,

I have not been to a wedding in ages and am getting married next year. I keep hearing about unity candles. Are those for a particular kind of religion? Or do you do it just because you want to? What exactly do you do? I am Lutheran getting married in a Lutheran church (LCMS not ELCA) so I wasn't sure if this was something I would be expected to do or possibly not supposed to do if it is for another religion only.
Thanks!

My husband found out through SSI when they contacted us about survivors benifits. SSI wont tell us anything about her "illness" nor her address. We have no clue where Mom lives or how to contact any family members to get closer to her Moms location. WE think it is a good idea to have our child meet her Mom to build a relationship before it's to late or maybe even just to say good bye to mom if she is really ill.

Have you lost any friends since you got married / settled down etc?

I had loads of friends when I was single, but since I got a girlfriend and eventually a wife we parted ways. Its no biggie but I do kinda miss a few beers etc with the lads.

I'm only 26, is it normal to lose friends when you settle down? The only friend I have now is my wife, I have work mates but we're not that close, its strictly business.

Is it abuse when you take it without defending yourself in a marriage? I'm a very passive person, and don't ever touch anyone in a mean way. However, I do have plenty of strength enough to defend myself. I'm just curious if what they're doing is considered abuse, because I could stop it forcefully.

Ok I've asked a lot of questions lately about what girls think look good on a guy. And well most girls usually say something like eyes. But the thing is that I have brown eyes! Not blue ones!

Is it possible for girls to think that I'm hot even if I only have brown eyes? How can I improve myself so that girls think that I'm hot and sexy?

Do I have to workout, get a nice body and then shave my chest or what?

What do you think?? Is there a chance a wife is bi-curious…when you notice that she is checking out other women both in person and on t.v. and mentions that she just got her vic’s secret catalog and says the women in there are hot even turn her on?
