No need to get worried. He is already going out with you to the movies, so it sounds like things are off to a good start.

Here's what you do. Go find someplace near the theater that is open after 8 that serves good coffee. Preferably, a diner that offers free refills on coffee, and doesn't mind if you just want coffee. Usually, the best place is Denny's, but I don't know where you live, so you may have to look around.

Once you've found the place, I'd suggest waiting to tell him about it. This allows you and him to have an out if things don't go well, or if you're just tired and want to call it an evening. However, if both of you want the night to continue, it let's you have a place to just talk.

What I don't want you to do is worry about him rejecting you. It's still too premature to start thinking that he doesn't like you. There will be plenty of time to wonder if he likes you after the date is done. Take things one step at a time. Don't allow little things to distract you or make you doubt yourself. You're just a bit nervous, but it will pass. You'll be fine.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

The rule of 3-You make an effort 3 times and if he doesn't reciprocate, you let it go. It looks like you tried once, asking him if he wanted to go to the movie, so I think it would be fine if you asked him to go for coffee (that would be #2). Good luck!
