I like Lauren or Laura and Maybe Lily. Loise seems to old fashioned for today's world unless it has some kind of value to you. Why not let your sons have a hand in helping pick the names it will surely make them feel important. How about Hanna and Hayley. I think Hanna and Annah are to close and when you call one you might get them both.

What about Paige and Payton.
I think that twin names with the same letter are much better then rhyming ones. Many will argue that they should have their own individual name because they are individuals but Ifeel that just becaus ethey have the same letter in their names doesnt make it a corny twin thing. Many families have all the same letter in all their kids names. Whay should it be different for twins to have them? I have twins that dont have the same letter only becuase I couldnt find two names with the same letter that I liked.

We have 2 beautiful daughters aged 13 and 6,
7 years between them, our eldest is Courteny and our baby is Kree, so both with the same soud at the begining, Kree should be Cree (as in Cree indian, my husbands heritage back a few generations), how ever we took into account that with the same Miss C Bond's in the family they might open each others mail by accident. hope this helps, all the best, hope all goes well.

seriously not trying to be rude....Loise is an aweful name nowadays. please do not name your daughter that.

If you want to go with Laura how about pairing it was a sweeter name like Lindsay.

Hannah and Annah are cute but they sound too much alike and that would probably be very aggravating for them.

samara and sallya are cool because they are different but they they sound very ethnic, which is probably ok but i don't know you so i don't know how you would feel about that.

i would keep trying

I'm afraid that tossing out more name ideas will just make the decision harder, and that maybe the key is to zero in on something that your family all enjoys and is interested in and see if names can be derived from that.

Is there any way you can make the names particularly meaningful to all of you by including parts of the parents' names? The names of historical figures that mean something to you? (E.g. if you're religious you might think of using Bible names. If you're interested in nature, you might think of the names of flowers or plants. If you're interested in music you might name them after musicians or types of music.)

Names beginning with the same letter and sounding similar is very very very very corny. I hate when people do this to their poor defenseless twins. While they are twins and may be identical or very similar genetically, they ARE individuals. They are going to be tortured enough by being dressed alike and all that other crap. Geez. Poor kids.

Aurora and Annette
Samara and Sophia

Samara is a beautiful name! I think you should try to match something with it. Don't go the rhyming route: that would just be a little bit to precious.
