He already has a beautiful watch, doesn't wear any other jewelery...I'm stumped! Any ideas would be great...and when do you give this gift? After the reception is over, and its just the two of you?

Many lovely suggestions so far, but we aren't into sports at all, and our wedding is to be a casual affair on the beach, so although I love cuff links, I don't think they'd be appropriate in this instance-and he prides himself on not having to dress up for his job (photographer). This is why I am stumped!

Give him something that will make him smile and laugh before the big event! It does not have to be expensive, but it can be personal.
I gave my husband a really cute hand crafted piggy bank. He thought it was hilarious because I am always on him to save his money, and his beloved cat's name is "Piggy".
We use it to store all of our change now!

Some of my friends have given their fiances really super nice cuff links. Of course, you can't get the dates engraved on those. If you guys are religious, then maybe a very nice leather bible from Family Christian Store with your names and your new last name and wedding dates below that. You can get it engraved there for only $5.00 if you buy the bible from them. Usually the best man and maid of honor give each other the gifts and then in turn give them to the groom and bride and let them know it is from their significant other the morning of the wedding. Good luck and congratulations.

It really depends on your fiance, your finances and your feelings.
Since he already has a nice watch, maybe something else that he may need such as a wallet (put a pic of you in it of course...lol), an engraved flask, or anything else he can use.
If he has a certain thing he has really been hinting towards that he wants, then get that for him. For me, my fiance really wants a car to work on (he is a mechanic and really into classic cars. he wants one to rebuild and customize) so i found him a 79 Camaro (finally!) that he will be able to work on. The guy who i am buying it from has allowed me to make payments on it and is even storing it. Now it isnt anything fancy, but it is something that I know he would just be overwhelmed getting, so i know it will be appreciated. He tried to convince me that he wanted one of those jeweled King Cups (those are the cups you see in those videos- so it wont happen!!) Besides, i knew he was joking...lol
so it really depends on him. If you have enough to get him something that you know he will love forever than by all means get it for him.
I will be giving my fiance his gift the day before the wedding ( i will be away from him from that afternoon until after the wedding so i wanted him to get it beforehand).

I bought my fiance a movado watch with the wedding date engraved on it. But since he already has a beautiful watch, how about something else.....how about a handkerchief. There's a beautiful website that has the most beautiful handkerchief's that come in a box complete with a beautiful poem. I ordered these for our mother's gifts. the website is...www.newtraditionhankies.com
And I would have his best man or mother give him the gift while he is getting dressed.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

My fiance loves to take pictures as a hobby so I am getting him a camara bag that he has had his eye on and having his name put on it. The morning of the wedding I am having my maid of honor give him a pair of pens that are engraved (about $40 for the set) because he does a lot of paperwork at his job.
Good Luck and Congrats

I bought my fiance a quaich, I have added a website that explains what these are!!! in 1589 King James VI of Scotland gave Anne of Norway a Quaich or "Loving Cup" as a wedding gift, so if it is good enough for a royal wedding then it's good enough for us mere mortals!

Because my husband and I honeymooned in Las Vegas, I bought us tickets to see a Cirque du Soleil show as a wedding gift. He bought us mountain bikes to use in our new home in Hawaii! We gave the gifts to each other after the reception when we were alone at home. We lit candles, had some wine...it was really nice.

My husband wants to be a writer, so I got him a writing desk for a wedding gift.
Does your fiance like wine? Maybe a have a special label made up with your names and wedding date and give it to him.
Maybe a really nice pen set, or a tie pin, or if he drives something for his car. It could really be anything.

My fiance and I have talked about this and since we will be starting a home together and both really want to get two puppies, we decided our wedding presents to each other will be the dogs. We are going to get them AFTER the honeymoon so we won't have to worry about training them/dogsitters etc.
good luck!
