I am a proud father of my 13 year old daughter Kristin and she recently asked for me to buy her thong panties and thong swimwear. I think she is a great kid as she has a 4.0 G.P.A and she never has gotten in any trouble but I am worried about this. I never had a reason to doubt her before and I am raising her by myself. It's just that I know when I go to the beach and see a young teen in a thong, as a 33 year old guy, I know it would excite me. I can only imagine if the boys know she is wearing it, what it may do. I dont want her pregnant and I dont want older guys on the beach to be checking her out. What, should I do? She is a very pretty innocent girl, and I dont want her to be some older mans masturbation fantasy. Should I just say no?

My boyfriend and I (who live together) often go out with his family for dinner. I love his family, they are really fun, sweet and they love having me around. But every time we go out, they command him to run around and wait on them instead of sitting down and having a relaxing dinner with the family. He has to carry his sisters baby and all of her bags. He has to run around the restaurant for his mom, getting her menus or another fork or whatever she can think of. Once, we went out and his niece lost her shoe and they told him to go out and find it. he looked for about 15 min and then they found it in her diaper bag! He spends half of the evening catering to them. I wish I could say something but its not my place. Ive been thinking of just staying home so I dont have to watch it if he cant stand up against them. It hurts to see someone I love treated like that and its stupid that it bothers him and he wont fight back. Am I being crazy or am I right in feeling this way? What should I do

This weekend, I am finally getting over my ex. I have been yearning for him this whole last year, but finally, now that I am finally making some real friends, I feel very wary of him and not at all like giving it a try again. he does not treatme with the respect I deserve, and I don't feel like fighting him or anybody any more for respect. If a guy does not treat a woman with respect, what kind of guy is he, anyhow? However, I have told him that I am still interested in working things out. Part of the problem is that he still lives in NYC, where there is a lot of pressure in life and everyone is more or less overwhelmed and romantically undernourished, but I live in Northern Cal now, and I see no reason to put up with this. Should I let him know that this option is no longer available?

There are four people concerned in this question. Let's call them Person A, Person B, Person C, and Person D.

My husband's ex who he has two children with seems to be having some issues with him that I'm not really sure where they are coming from..When we were just dating it didn't seem to be much of a problem of her letting him see the children, but then it became a problem with her and he wasn't aloud to see them for over 6 months. Mind you, she has been in several relationships since her and my husband have been together. Matter of fact she's had two children since then. He told me she sounds very bitter when she has to call him concerning the children. Is it because he is now married. Is it because they were still messing around before he got married or is it because she knows that by him getting married he has moved on? What's really going on?

hey..just wanted to apologize 'bout that lil drunk dial over the weekend. had a lil too much to drink..and well ya know how that goes..anyway..it was inconsiderate, especially now that you are back with your girlfriend. everything was just hitting me all at once, and a million thoughts were running through my head, and I was still kinda disappointed that you wouldn't be going to Colorado, but it's something I shouldn't worry about. and plus I've been stressed out a lil because of this new job, because it's more high pressure so I have to keep up with the best of them now. Recently, I was able to get over my ex decisively, but there was another guy lurking in the wings who pushed me to get over him. He is a wonderful man, in terms of character, and I find him attractive, but I am not sure (1) about my feelings for him; or (2) about what I want right now. I do not wish to lead him on (we were going out when he made me break this off, as he realized I was rebounding and not necessarily interested in him), but I also do not wish to lose the chance of getting together with somebody of such high moral fiber and character whom I respect. why can't things be easy? why cant the girl just ask me out, not only that but immediately fall in love and thus spare me pains of pursueing. also, why can't my work just give me a raise, just bump me up in pay enough so that i can afford to move out. thats all i need. also, i wouldn't mind a complete set of new, more successful friends, a completely new city and surroundings. is that too much to ask for?
