Please tell me you don't use words like "catched" in front of your 7 year old.

You were artifically inseminated? That is what a single mom is. I have a feeling you are an unwed mother. A decent mother would not invited a man into the house and beded him when her son was around. I have a feeling your 7 year old son has seen a lot for his age, so nothing would shock him.

You have to be careful, honestly if you were doing that in your house when the kid was around I don't think you really care about what he thinks; next time make sure your date takes you to his places when somebody else takes care of your baby "while" you are busy. You asked for an opinion, there you go.

Try locking the door. I walked in on my mom and her b/f when I was six. I can still see it. Learn from your mistakes and think of your child before yourself next time.

Sit down and explain it to him, and ask him if he has any questions then answer them truthfully.
Then tell him he can ask you any questions when he feels like it.
Its important to have an open relationship with him, especially if his father is not in the picture, you need to make sure hes comfortable talking to you.

You have to let him know to mind his business and knock next time... Thats what my mom told me all the time. I came out fine. You will laugh at it when he gets older.

u have to call ur kid ans talk to him heart to heart without mincing words. u also have to get closer to him. there shold be a better rapport between u than before.
