Dude, a friend is good for you and build you up. An enemy is someone who does the opposite and undermines who you are or what you do.
A friend doesn't always go along with you because he/she knows (or thinks he does) what is or is not going to hurt you, but will always give you the benefit of the doubt and acceptance and will desire whatever is good for you.
An ideal friend is hard to find and is a very special bond, the benefits are mutual and selfless.
An enemy wants you hurt, stay away from those! They will try to destroy your friendships too.

personally I don't think there is a difference between them. I mean you can argue with your friends the same as arguing with your enemies. you can also takl to both of them. So there isn't really a difference in them. An ideal friend would probably have to be someone that is there for you when you need help or something. Someone who doesn't spread around rumors, and someone who doesn't talk behind your back.

Keep friend in your vocabulary and toss out enemy. You have no enemies. You have people you enjoy being around and others you do not. A friend leaves you comfortable after interaction. Thus you want to interact again. So you seek their company. Others make you uncomfortable, so don't seek them out. Very simple. It is not your world and we all do not live in it. So enough with the enemy bit. Give everybody a chance and friendship will evolve without your controlling classifications.

A friend is someone you like, enjoy spending time with and can trust to be there for you.
Enemy is a strong word - usually an enemy is someone you really can't stand to be around, you can't trust them, and in a lot of cases (not condoning this) someone that's seeking revenge on you (or visa versa).

To boil it down, a friend is somebody who cares for you, and an enemy is someone who deliberately tries to make bad things happen to you.
An ideal friend is somebody who's there for you when you need someone and likes you for who you are. A friend is somebody whose company you enjoy, and who enjoys your company.

A friend is someone who cares for you, is there for you, helps you and loves you(in a friend way). Now an enemy is someone who doesn't care for you, is not there for you, doesn't help you and doesn't love or like you(in any kind of way). Hope this helps!
