I find it hard to date having a 6 yr old son. For 1 I barely have time or a sitter. I explain my situation to guys when I 1st meet them. I do not want my son in anyway involved w/my dating, meaning...I don't want him seeing different guys.

I share a house w/my mom & her bf b/c the area we live in soooo expensive & I don't want diff men coming over. I do have privacy but it still doesn't feel right. It's frustrating b/c guys will call me to do things at the last min & I can't b/c of my son & they sometimes don't even acknowledge the fact that I do have a son which is a huge responsiblity & he comes 1st. My son is growing up & I don't want him seeing certain things. His father & I aren't together but his dad wants so bad to be with me & my son thinks his dad is the best thing since sliced bread. But his dad is a loser...of course I would never let my son know that. But I just want someone to except me & my son...& to realize that this is a package deal. What should I do??

I have been going out with his guy for about 2 months and he is great , funny, cute, actually wants to hear what i have to say, he's perfict(well close enough anyway) its my first normal relationship, and i have never said i love you to anyone besides my parents, so im not sure when to drop the L bomb. I want to i want to say I love you, really bad, the other day a friend was hittin on me and said"call me when you break up with him", and i just wanted to say"no, i love my boyfriend" and i've never wanted to say that before, but i dont wanna freak him out , should a wait a while longer?

i lost my dad 2 years ago it was very sudden he died of a heart attack.
i was on antidepressant for too long
so i came off of them.
i feel stuck like life means nothing without him its not like i haven't been through this before my mum died when i was younger plz help and tell this will soon go away

I'm just asking because we have decided that at our wedding we are not having one because it sort of takes the personal touch from buying someone a wedding gift. A couple of years ago I wanted to buy my sister a lovely set of antique photo frames but she said I couldn't, I had to choose something from the list and pay on the Internet with my credit card. In the end I got her a towel rail or something like that. I don't even think she remembers what I got her. What do you think?

We've been married for 13 years. Every year our relationship is getting worse. We sleep in a separate bedroom since 5 years ago, because he told me I sleep violently and always pulled his blanket off him. We don't have an intimacy relationship since 9 years ago. So for him it's good if I sleep in a different bedroom. I'm 24 years younger than him, I thought married the much older guy would be good for me since I like the attention. But what I got so far just the opposite. He's a good provider financially, but he's never given me emotional support. Sometimes I feel so sad, I cry myself he's never asked me and basically just ignore me. Everytime we are in the same room, the conversation that comes up always about his job. We've never travelled together, so I ussually go somewhere with my friends. We are both working, but everytime we are home together, he always spends his time in front on the computer. I feel so lonely and depressed.
I need your suggestion what should I do?

Well there is this guy I have known him since june. We used to work together.. He is really a sweet guy.. He buys me whatever I want and treats me with so much respect.. But I just want to be friends. Im 17 and he is 21..Hes in college and Im a senior in high school. He really likes me and wants to be more then friends. Even though I say that I just want to be his friend We fool around because I have NEEDS and so does he. But thats it.. I care alot for him he is really good to me But I know that I will hurt him so I am just going to be his friend. But my friends think Im leading him on just to get the things that I want And need. I have a friend who I have known awhile now but recently his 'quirks' have been irritating everyone and he has just been left alone.. When I think about it I feel really guilty, but like most people we can't cope.

Thing is, he is a constant liar and attention seeker but it doesn't seem to be for negative reasons. IMO He is just looking for acceptance and feels the need to be accepted by everyone. He will often change his 'face' to fit in, if this means acting tough, or changing his taste in films. I understand everyone changes around different people due to wanting to be liked but his change is so evident and everyone can see it. Some of his outlooks on appeasing people and so on are just wrong and its just annyoing..

Nobody wishes to talk to him about it and most people generally dislike him now. He's smarmy and five-faced and.. I dont know.. I think he genuinely just wants to be liked.. Should someone speak to him?

What are peoples opinions?

Hello, I am throwing the bride a shower. They have been together for 4 years and already have an established home and everything that goes in it. She is not registering anywhere except for at a travel agency. I think this is rude, as to me it sounds like they are saying "PAY FOR MY HONEYMOON". I have told her how I feel and have asked her what is the point of having a shower to open only cards of money. She insists on wanting a shower (YOUNG FIRST TIME BRIDE Syndrome - I don't know). I have been to many showers that had registery information in the invitation and see nothing wrong with that, but only to be regisetered with a travel agency? Am I looking at all of this wrong. DO I send out invitations with something saying they are established and don't need anything but are registered at an agency. PLEASE SEND ADVICE. Thanks. Deedee

Well both of my best friends dated for about 6 months then broke up because of two things, they wanted space and there was abuse involved. Thing is they did decided to be friends, but my guy friend wasn't really acting friendly to her. She was getting really upset so she got an appointment in our guidance office to get this straightend out, and decided she wanted me in there for support. Well things were getting cleared and were going good but when we went outta there he went back to his old ways. Point is he is so mad at her for some reason he won't even talk to her but every time i try to talk to him (not even about her about other things) he will just ignore me. I really don't want to get in the middle of it because i am now at risk of losing both of my best friends over this. What do you people think i should do?
