A few days ago I decided to tell a friend who I was totally in love with that I loved her. She told me she liked me as a good friend and nothing more, and that she loved someone else. At first I accepted this, it hurt but I really like her and didn't want to loose her as my friend. The only thing is I am still really upset. It is now affecting my ability to do my job, and I am not interested in doing any of the things I usually am. I was already a heavy smoker and drinker, and this has made it worse, I have been drunk every day this week. To make it worse she is coming back home next weekend, (she stays at the other end of the country most of the time), i is my birthday and I don't know what to say to her. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been working with this girl for about 6 weeks. She is 23 and I'm 20. She is beautiful! Everyday I drive to work I say to myself I'm going to ask her to be my girl today, but when I get around her I freeze up. I start talking about the weirdest stuff, like what time she gets off and what is she doing this weekend. She is kinda intimidating because she is 23 and I'm 20. She seems interested in me. I make her laugh and she told me over the phone that she likes me alot. I guess another reason I freeze up is because she is always around her co-workers. We never get one on one time. And one day she told my best friend that I was Scary! I'm not shy nor scary, she's just so beautiful, I never had anyone like her before! Please help me out? What would you say? What should I say? How should I come at her?

My mother died of breast cancer 4 years ago. My father started seeing a woman about 6 months later. Ever since our relationship has become very frosty. I feel that he doesn't see me or my sister in his 'new' life anymore.

If you could fly, where would you walk? Yes I know, these questions are very stupid and oh, so very pointless. Deal with it!

I'm not talking about "oh he's cute" crushes. Talking about "wow, we have so much in common... he's everything I've wanted in a guy since I was 14" But she still won't leave me. I'm just sick of this. I find it disrespectful and inconsiderate that she expresses these thoughts to me if she doesn't have any real intention of leaving me. She just leaves me wondering if she ever will... I wish I could just be her everything. Is this something I should be really concerned about? Is it worth breaking up over? Thoughts please.

I married a Chinese man who is so spoiled by his parents that he never helps with any housework or take care of our kids. I did not discover that after we got married. During our 8 years of marriage, he never washed a dish or changed a diaper. I am having a very tough job at work and when I return home, I have to take care of our kids and do all the housework. He is not working and is going to school. He said he is very busy with school and has no time or energy to help me. My mom said all Chinese man are like that, just take it. Is this normal for a Chinese man. Should I stay with him for the sake of our kids?

Hey guys, well long story short there is a girl I met a month ago, she is my roomies girlfriends sister. I pretty much liked her from the first moment I saw her and got to know her and she is everything that I want in a girl and then some......She left a week ago to go on vacation for a month but we have been talking everyday online and continue to do so. But now there is another guy coming onto her very agressively and shes liking it. He is callling her babe and everything and I really dont want to lose her to this guy..........I just dont know what to do to show her I care for her, the only way we can talk right now is through messaging online, should I just come out with my feelings to her that way, or do something else? Im just lost and I refuge to live in regret without doing anything.

...with divorce incentives for custodial parents (read: 85% women) that allow a parent to profit from raising their children? Middle to upper income obligors pay $30K to $60K/ year to their spouse in child support. This amount of money grossely exceeds what is needed for and is spent on the "children". This is more like an early retirement plan for some and a real divorce incentive for women that are not getting along in their marraige! I'm inlove with my guy friend of two years. At first we worked together for about 4months and just before I left the country we were working in, I realised I was inlove with him. It's scary to think we've spent in total 5 months of time face to face and the remainder of the time emailing eachother once a week or fortnight. Am i holding onto false hope? Why would he still be writing me? Is it possible he really thinks we are just friends? I don't know if i can go back to being only his friend. I need to get a life but all the guys I date just don't seem to fill his place(T_^;)

We're renting a house from private now, but will move to another neighbourhood in like 2 weeks. We use the washer of our landlord, who lives right besides us, and we co-use the washer, as our house is too small for a washer (I'm suuuuper-happy to get out of here).
So yesterday, I told our landlord, that we'll be getting the keys very soon. 2 hours later, all at once, she tells me, that the washer is broken, with an attitude. Let me say you, I don't like them, anyway, they have sort of a "You owe me!"-attitude regarding many things and they're not the most honest people. We don't have a written rental contract, as they used to be hubby's friends, and he thought, he could trust them, and he started living in this house, before he knew DD and me, so they can afford to be hostile, too.

I don't believe, that the washer is really broken, I think, she's only pizzed, that we move and that I'm not very eager to babysit her kids for free and that I generally don't like our kids playing.

We are looking for a place not too far to fly - we have a small child - and are only having immediate family at the ceremony, so a beach would be prefect. We thought originally of Hawaii but it's way too far to fly with a baby. Any ideas?
