Yes it is very important.

I make an effort with my partner 24/7 but unfortunately he does not do the same back. If given the choice to go out with his friends or me he choose his friends.

I never feel important and if i'm honest i enjoy attention i get from other people. Not in a sexual way but just like if someone at work says "your hair looks nice" I feel special but i do go bright red as i am not used to getting complimants.

Christmas night, new years eve, valentines and mothersday were all days he went out and was not there and i feel very neglected and it would be so nice to feel special and wanted again.

It can help but it depends on your relationship...

One would hope that your partner wouldn't be with you unless they wanted to be but on the other hand its good to know you are supported and valued in what you do.

But I think its important for any relationship, friends or life partner, as well as work colleagues, to tell them they're great every now and then and that you appreciate what they're doing. Not too much though otherwise you just don't believe it any more... :)

Yes it is a very important part of a relationship. Everyone needs to feel that they are wanted and valued. There is no sense of being in a relationship without it being given by both people involved.

Yes but dont do it too often, just ocaasionally to let him know that you care & he should reciprocate.

It is also good to do something different don't get yourselves in a rut doing the same things each week. Change your habits & keep it spicy.

If you ever have a problem or doubt, talk about it & dont stew over it.

Dont nag or be nagged

Most important be honest & respect each other

Life is great & you two have a great life you were meant for each other

It is really important to show your partner that he/she is wanted and valued. Relationship is always strengthened by practical exhibition of un-prohibited love. Free and blissful communication lubricate love/relationship. It is very important to let each other know how dear and precious you are to one another.

I saw all the answers were right on. To build a realtionship takes mutual respect, honesty, compassion, and attention. Letting some one know you always care, allows them to feel secrue in your le and caring. The key word, is MUTUAL,, not just the partner doing the wanting, and valuing

Yes, yes of course if u don't feel wanted, valued or loved, then the relationship suffers greatly. I mean really, everyone needs to know that they are loved, appreciated and valued in a relationship, otherwise, what's the whole point of it all?
