ok well, he is my best guy friend, i like him but he just SAYZ he likes my as a friend but acts like he likes me. for example, he lets me wear his hat, he waits for me between classes, lunch, and when we go outside,he said i can call him devi instead of devon. he walks really close to me, he slow danced with me at our dance, he is nicer to me than HIS guy friends.
whats going on?!!

I think in ur case ur guy too doesn't know whatz going on or may be hez just pretending innocently.
K firstly u decide wheteher u love him or not i mean whatz going on inside u?If u think positive abt him then make him realise the same thing(that u r more than a friend for him).
Play a game:
Start avoiding him or give more importance to another friend.If he would have any feeling for u he'll place them all infront of u.

I very rarely answer to questions....but since the lack thereof on this one that are actually going to help you... I'll give you my insight but its probably insight your not going to want to hear..... I dont care what type of guy it is 9 out of 10 times if a guy likes a girl HE WILL NEVER tell the girl that he likes her as just a friend. Guys are not like that and if we say something along those lines we really mean it. If he was too shy to tell you he likes you, he would be too shy to do the things that you listed such as slow dance with you and wait for you to get out of your classes. So you ask.....what is he doing or why isnt he dating me.......theres many scenarios and here are just some.
1) He does not find you attractive enough but likes your personality
2) He's ashamed and doesn't wanna get crap from the guys

It's possible that he does like you as more than a friend but he likes the friendship you have and doesn't want to ruin that if things don't work out. It's also possible that like he said, he only wants to be friends. Of course he's not going to wait for his guy friends between classes or slow dance with them. Give it more time, but think on this, he sounds like a great friend, do you really want to risk messing it up by getting romantically involved? Good Luck.

Ask him if he will still be your best guy friend if you have a boyfriend. Try to get a solid answer from him about that. Then look for another boyfriend. Keep him in your life as a best friend. He has told you where he stands and you should believe him. Ask yourself (and maybe him) if he might be gay.

Don't push it. Maybe the guy likes you but it will take a while for the thing to sink in...guys are like that. Let it sink in. Maybe his friends don''t like you and he is feeling pressured by you. I DONT know??? :D there are lots of answers but try and find the truth out ok...tell him you like him, and it doesn't matter if he doesn't like you like a guy-girl thing but just as a friend.

hey, tell me what would you say if it was some girl who does the things mentoined above insted of a boy to you. You wouldn't think what you are thinking now, you would probably say that she considers me as her good friend that is why she is with me always. why can't you think in the same why with him also.

I also had this problem. He's maybe afraid that it will ruin your friendship. Just ask him if that is the problem and if it is, well just think before you want to move further.

he likes you but scared to admit it and probarly thinks he might not be able to handle you if you are more than friends and you might end up thinkin either waes. give him confidence that you can work m sure he would want to try.
