I'm getting married this October. My parents divorced when I was 5, and my relationship with my dad has not been really close. We like a lot of the same music, and when he would pick me up or drop me off on Sunday, he would always play the Doobie Brothers. While I know there aren't a lot of popular slow songs by them, are there any songs of the rock genre that would be a good one for a father/daughter dance? I want to compile a list and talk to my dad about it. Please note the artist with the song title. Thank you!

I dated a guy 6 years ago, we started dating when i was 13 and it lasted for 2 years but we were both young and he moved to live with him mom and we made it work for awhile but then we broke up 4 years ago and I started dating another guy that lasted about 3 1/2 years, we lived together for a year but the whole time I knew my heart belonged to the other guy. We have talked on and off and hung out on occasion. Last time we talked he told me how no girl compares to me, etc, but then one day he called me in the morning and said he'd call me that night and I haven't heard from him since. that was 6 months ago. He had an out of state phone # and was getting ready to get a different service (cell phone) so I don't know his number anymore and have no way of getting it. My heart still belongs to him but I have no way of talking to him, & don't know if he'd even want to talk to me, I don't know if him and his gf he had the last time we talked are still together or anything. What should I do???

I met this guy in my lecture and we sat together randomly and just got on amazingly well. Next lecture he asked for my email ad. Then as we were never online at same time he gave me his number and said if i wnatd 2 i coud text him. So i emailed my number and we texted since. Hes told me some stuff about him medical, family dynamics etc and what he wants in life.I like him a lot.At one point he was going to meet me but i was ill. We've only gone out after classes.But recently hes not texting me and ive strated texts convos twice. wasnt in class other day and online sed he looked out for me. I asked him if he wanted to do something but he was busy.I think hes loosing intrest.He seems confident and if he likes me why hasnt he asked me out.I dont think i should as its realy his call..not sure he'd like that.But he needs to hurry up..Easter breaks!Should i text again or is that desperate? Why would a guy stop texting? Think now chase is over hes gone? we havent done nefin 2getha!thnks

it might sound like a dumb question but he doesnt seem to get very jealous on some things but i dont know. my friend said that his friend likes me. and alot of other guys like me they talk about me in the locker room and say im hot and other hot guys will agree with them.
how would u fell about this if u were the one that had a girlfriend that had guys that liked her and stuff like that?

We were married by the Justice Of the Peace and for our 5th anniversary we want to renew our vows in the church that we have recently became members of. My question is our anniversary is March 17, and to do it on a weekend we will have to do it on March 14, does it matter? Do you have to renew your vows on your actually anniversary or can you do it just a few days before? When we got married the only people that were there were our parents, and we want to have a bigger wedding with all of our family and friends there.

My husband is wonderful and so is my best friend. My husband knows how much I care for my friend and encourages the relationship because he sees it makes me & my friend happy. He trusts me not to sleep with him and he is right. My friend is very honorable and won't be intimate. He tries desperately to steer me to my husband only but is in love with me too. We enjoy each other so much and won't be alone together and try to keep intimate talk down. We can resist the sexual desire but the heart and soul connection is so strong and satisfying. Since my husband knows, is this okay? Strong relationship with my husband too but need both of them. Am I selfish or will the relationship with my friend calm back down to friendly only with no love attraction. We all deeply believe in God and try to be good servants but my friend and I work together and understand each other and get along so well that we bonded emotionally and spiritually. He is divorced with no desire for woman in life right now.

I do not have a job because my husband did not want me to work. Daycare costs for 3 kids is more than I could make in a week! We got an eviction notice for next Thursday-in the mail box today-he told me he paid the rent! Last week MY car was repossessed! He would not pay the payment. I am in college also-I have no family to stay with! I don't have a car! I don't have a job! He walked out and left tonight with all of his stuff and all he said was 'bye'. I don't want him back ever-he has been so horrible to me-I have got to get back on my feet somehow. Has anyone ever went through this? Where do I start?

my bf is a sports buff... i go with him to almost every game, you know for support and bcoz I love watching him play... but ryt now, I don't even think he asked me what I want to do... sometimes I think he's too insensitive.. I'm engaged and my fiance and I are very much in love with each other.

However, for some reason, he's having a big issue with the fact that I'm the only one he's ever had sex with, while I've slept with other guys (before we got together & while we were broken up... i didn't cheat on him or anything). For some reason, it makes him feel inadequate & like he's missing out.

Even though I've told him a million times that I regret being with other guys (it's caused me problems that i'd rather not discuss here), he still doesn't get it. It's gotten to the point where he keeps wondering what it might be like to "even things out" and he almost went through with it about a month ago.

What can we do about this???

I'm 20 years old and I've been married for 6 months. My husband is constantly insulting me and when I get mad he says that it was a joke and I need to stop watching America's Next Top Model and Girlfriends because the rowdy women on these shows make me rowdy. He tries to make it seem like I'm being ridiculous for getting upset and somehow it's never his fault. Like today, I saw a picture of a guy and said he looked like my brother (who he's never met)and his response was "well your brother must be ugly". I got mad and told him that it was rude and he says there was nothing wrong with what he said. I'm really sick of it and I'm thinking when our lease is up I will move into my own place. What should I do? I'm tired of this and I'm beginning to think something is wrong with him in the brain! We argue constantly because he's constantly insulting me or my family.

Okay, I changed schools a few months ago, and there's this guy at my old school who is really quiet and does not have many friends at all. He keeps to himself. One day I was on myspace and found his myspace, and we started talking on there. Thanks to all for the reply to my earlier question,lot of people have asked the depth and reason for my closeness to this man,I would just like to say that in situations where loneliness is concerned companionship is required,maybe this is the reason i got close to this man,yes physical intimacy is there but not sexual,since my husband is highly career minded he has no affection or caring for my feelings,he is not against me having friendships with males ,he is open minded,i once discussed with my husband regarding this man,he just told me that i am sensible enough toknow the limits ,and i feel i know my limits and have not crossed yet ,i dont know about the future ,but at present we just enjoy each others company ,now you all can ( specially females ) let me know if i am doing wrong.

wat do u think . My sis an her boyfriend just got engaged an they r go'n to get married.My sister has 2 twin daughters Baliee and Karmen . They are both 18 and still live with her . She also has an adopted daughter named Ashley . She is 19 . My sister is 35 & her boyfrend is 28 . Her daughters r always so flirty acting around him & there mom lets them wear watevr they want plus letting them walk around in their bed clothes at nite which r thongs and bras , & she acts just as flirty & trampy as them. They are cute grls , they have nice bodies and clothes but they are sneaky little things. The other day when I came over to my sisters house no one answerd the door so I came in as always and no one was down stairs so i went up stairs. I heard giggling and some grunting noises and the door was open at the end of the hall so I walked towards it and I sen both girls w/ him and they wer al naked .He was n one of them. the mom is ok w/ it !!!!! She knos it. They screw evrywhr any time.
